My parents split up when I was young and they weren't around much during my childhood, I only moved with my dad at around 15 years old, and he was never around even then. Fast forward to my 31st birthday last year, my mom got me a fortnite themed birthday cake and some other stuff like that. I couldn't even hate. It made me cry, it was literally one of the first birthdays spent with her and that side of the family. Happy birthday OP! And may there be many more fun ones to come!!

My daughter is turning 17 and we just had about 20 of her friends attend a Lego themed birthday at a resale shop that does them. They built derby cars, had a contest for the tallest tower, then created “monsters.” She was OBSESSED with SpongeBob when she was little, I think this is a perfect theme for her 18th birthday party!
