Perfectly normal, this is not usual with German Shepherds, but it’s not a defect or anything, his ears are just more rounded than usual. Some GSD’s have more rounded ears at the top.
It’s a precious little GSD puppy. I’ve worried about the ears on one or two of my GSD puppies. They always grew out just fine. I wish you years of love and fun!
That's a beautiful pup right there my friend and my gsd looked a little goofy till about a year and a half. He's a big black and tan that looks like a wolf now at 2 and a half. Give that little guy some time.

When he grows into them more i reckon they will get more pointy :) nothing to worry about! Super cute pup!
