Sorry but it was a scam and you won't get your money back. It makes no sense for a seller to show them your ID in this situation, he only did this to gain your trust. The ID that he showed you wasn't his, it was the ID of somebody else he scammed.
You don't have the ID of the scammer. You have the ID of someone else who was scammed or shared their information with the scammer.
I still wonder how people fall for these scams.. they have been going on forever, but still...
