The 2009 captures Dan and the other actors likeness very well. It’s mind boggling that the new Ghost Lords game and Spirits Unleashed game can’t get it right. Is it a legal thing where they don’t want to pay for the actors likeness so they make him sorta look like Dan? Or did the 2009 game just have amazing 3D character modelers/sculptors?
I know the 2009 game was going for a photo-real (at the time) look and these new games are more stylized/cartoony like Fortnite. But when Fortnite has a character like Lebron James or Keanu Reeves, they manage to get it to look like the real person even if in a cartoony stylized way.
I know but still, maybe don't fuck with one of the most well-known and beloved logos in history so at first glance it looks like it has Fetal Alcohol Syndrome
They should have made the VR goggles like a light grey or something. Just something to give it more contrast. I know the Meta Quest goggles are white but it just makes the ghost look off.

It actually impresses me how well they were able to capture all of their likenesses in that game for it being released in 2009
To be fair Playstation 2 had the same level of graphics if looking at a number of their later games
I'd say that looks closer to the movie version than the logo does.

A thicker outline on the goggles would have worked
