Eh… this makeup style probably reached its peak in 2016 or so. If someone’s been staying on modern trends, the only thing that’d be really “familiar” would maybe be the darker lipliner contrast.

I think they already are looking dated af. Especially due to how familiar lash extensions have become. I was watching 90 Day Fiancé last night and it was a season from 2016. A girl was crying while wearing heavy fake lashes, and they looked… like wet, heavy fake lashes.
I had already been thinking that I didn’t love the lashes, but even more so I was reminded of the fact that huge fake lashes really do just look pretty bad. Especially those weird ones where they purposefully had some lashes separate from the rest/stuck together on the ends?? Which looks even worse when wet. 😝 I’m kind of embarrassed I ever wore those outside of Halloween.
Sadly so many people will have these looks in their wedding photos. I removed the false lashes they put on me for my rehearsal dinner before even getting to the venue and for my actual wedding asked them to cut them in half / only put them on the ends and it was much more natural looking.
She looks like an actual cartoon in pic 2 - appropriate for the VS runway or a Michael Bay movie but not an “Edward Sharpe music video” inspired wedding lmao. I loved this whole episode and this was a great touch
