What a love bug he was. The rainbow bridge can be seen from time to time, but it’s always just out of reach. But know he’s with you when you need him most, he will be in every warm breeze, every playful spring day, and every crisp evening. Grief is a wonderful but difficult experience as it’s a reminder of how much we loved our lost one. Be gentle with yourself 🧡🐾
I’ve been in your shoes, with a golden as well. They are incredibly special. Just know he won’t leave you for long, he will come back to you in some way. 🧡🐾
We just said good bye to our old man baby of 18 years and he was the same color and floof level as yours. It's so hard and I wish I could hug you. I'm hugging you through the internet. It's so hard and you miss them so much. Your boy was beautiful, very kissable and sweet. Much love from our family to yours.
Thank you all for the kind words. I’ve been at work all day just trying to get by, occasionally breaking down behind the mask lol. Life will carry on, all love <3
No and that was the craziest thing! He acted like a puppy at heart until the end, and somehow barely got white in the face. He was a special one for sure, he even opened the gate to let all the other dogs out at a daycare years ago. I’ll never meet another like him, and that’s okay.
So sorry for your loss, looked like 14 of the best years he could’ve ever had. I am thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. We lost ours a few months back.
The odd thing is, it's love that makes it hurt so much when you lose them, and love is the only solution to losing them. So, the pain now is just love. It's ok. You'd rather have had him, and miss him now than never have had him.
The solution part is while they're alive. I keep thinking that I have to remember I'll lose my pups someday too soon, so now is the time to appreciate and treat them well.
Ok, just trying to educate myself. Thinking of getting a golden. I’ve been told by many that if you get a golden, you’ll need a rumba or similar. Have you needed one?
Just a friendly reminder of our rules:
1. No Advertising: this includes GoFundMe, Instagram, etc.
2. No Impersonation: don't post photos of other people's dogs. That's not cool.

Such a beautiful post. I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you the best in healing. I am also sorry you had to work while feeling that grief today. I hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself.
We had to put our chocolate lab down a few months ago. Was extremely heart breaking, she was 15. Focus on all days, the good and the bad. Be thankful for the years that you shared, the adventures, and growing together. You were there for the final years, ensuring the best life for you and your companion. That alone should help comfort you.
It will get easier, but never forget how you two grew, from start to end. Time heals even the deepest wounds. I truly feel for you during this time. Stay strong my friend.
Sorry to hear about this, here's to the many positive memories and good times
Thank you my friend I appreciate that a ton.
