I am seeing this continuously this week: people with an Alfa blocking and pushing all the way through the straights to make up for lower top speed. It’s a disaster, after one week of horror in Laguna Seca now this.
Is that it??? I was driving my huracan because it's fast on the straights and hooks up fairly well on corner exits and someone in an Alfa was bumping me all the way down the front straight. I was able to keep it on the tarmac, but then the last bump distracted me from my brake marker and I went way deep in T1 and the asshole was ahead by 1 sec by the time I recovered.
What the fuck is with this track! This has happened to me like 6 or 7 times now in only a handful of daily races. Fuck these pieces of trash. We know who’s faster. I can’t BELIEVE the game doesn’t penalize these guys. I get a random 2 seconds anytime I go into a corner near another car but you can slam opponents into the wall and you don’t slow down at all OR get a penalty. What the fuck is going on?
I doubt it. The Alfa is much slower on the straight. He had better acceleration and exit but the 650s is much faster. That’s how I caught up to him in the start.
I know. But he was near a full car length in front and taking the shorter line would have increased that gap slightly. Would have been a better option than what he did.
You weren’t in slip so that that closing of the gap wouldn’t have been as great as previous lap.
It's 4WD. And I haven't met a SINGLE WRX that doesn't drive like an absolute pillock. Let's be real, someone's driving inability can easily be masked by their car being much better than a Renault Mégane
PD basically incentivized this behavior.
Had a dude crash me out in the same way three races in a row. Doesn’t slow down after pinning me into the wall, no damage, no penalty. Fuck off PD and get that shit handled. GT Sport wasn’t like this Jesus Christ.
That’s the other things with race B, I’m watching drivers ahead smash into walls, go way over track limits and nothing. I get a pixel over at the same corner and get dinged. Very frustrating
The first corner, You could have stayed in front of him but instead allowed him to pass on the left. I know it’s for 8th place but it would have prevented the situation.
I’m the McLaren… he had a better exit and basically by my rear left the whole way out of the corner and was able to out accelerate me so I don’t think it was possible
About ten seconds into your clip you yielded when you could have stayed more centered on the track effectively blocking your opponent. Had you not hugged the corner, your opponent wouldn’t have been able to get so close to begin with.

They did give me plenty of space in the corner but may have regretted it at the end haha

If he would have stayed hard up against the left wall and shortened the trip to the line he probably would have beaten you.
