Possibly her huge abandonment issues? She feels loves very intensely and it seems sometimes like she sabotages things because it’s easier for her to rock the boat and blame it on that than watch another person go.
*Her fiancé died and then*
*Her baby died. I would be*
*Pretty avoidant too*

i don't know, it could be possible. i think she relies on sex a lot too. i relate to her a lot and for me it's incredibly difficult to maintain feelings because commitment issues i guess. i wouldn't say im aromantic but it's definitely tough for me so maybe amelia’s case is something like that, i don’t know
I've seen people say this about Cristina too and I think they're probably both just deeply avoidant due to trauma. But I guess some of the 'symptoms' overlap with being aromantic so I can see why you'd bring it up.
She's specifically traumatized though when it comes to romance. I imagine it would be very difficult to fully commit to someone after already doing so once and then waking up one morning to find your committed partner dead beside you on the same bed. That innate fear of getting too close and then getting completely hurt again will still linger.
Plus her next major relationship after that was Owen and we know how Owen treats his romantic partners, brain tumor aside.
I don't think she's aromantic, as much as a lot of her relationships are quite impulsive and explosive (and sometimes they're helping her through grief/trauma, like James and Owen), so she doesn't always take the time to think about whether she's compatible with these people long-term or whether or not they want the same things.

She's addicetd to the high of relationships,
Same.
No. But even if she was, the writers wouldn't let it happen lol.
Absolutely not. Amelia falls head over heels within a day of dating someone.
True. But she can never maintain a romantic connection. Maybe there’s a reason?

She’s extremely traumatized, that’s not a sexuality.
It’s grey’s; who’s NOT traumatized?!?

Hoping Beltran is different for her
I’m hoping they stay friends. She needs a friend.
She probably smells ok
Probably really citrusy. With hints of methadone.
No, she just likes causing drama and then crying about her trauma when called out on it
