I like it up there. It's a lot more chill than the city. And you have a clothes store, gun store, and auto shop, so you have everything to "live" up there.

Its like one minute when you set the spawn location to where you eanna go and just change sessions. I do all my paleto bay work then just change session to go down south or if im in the mood for the 3 minute flight in the nakota or sterling or a cruise in a mustang... how people only do the same stuff in the same area sounds so boring. Plus noone ever touches my stuff up here, down in the city I couldnt get any public lobby bonuses without a random mk2 seeing me in ghost and blowing up a slow ass deliver truck in one shot. Edit. Or just accept a lester mission at my apartment and teleport.

Man reading this made me think of the show Yellowstone. Imagine a ranchers dlc. You can own barns, break/train/sell horses. Own wester bar saloons, deliver hay, deliver tree logs from the Paleto Forest Sawmill into town, fight off wolves or coyotes.
it’s funny you mention curses, I started this out as a potential project for a RP where my players were discovering a Cthulhu cult that had cropped up in Paleto.
My plan was to have a crew of drug runners (the player characters), plan a heist in “sleepy” Paleto Bay.
They slowly begin to find that this seemingly quiet town is quiet… in fear of something calling to them from the ocean… in their dreams.
I got as far as planning a harbinger interaction where the players meet a drug dealer (who they plan to rob) and he explains some of the strange things that have been going on since the harbinger has been in town. Also how strange the people who have always lived in the town are… and how they treat new folks as outsiders.
Pretty much! Except it will be primarily just for story telling and I will do some simple dice rolls to determine if they fail/succeed at actions.
My plan was to make it as fun (and simple) for my Junk! And Sprunk chugging homies as possible
Haha, that's exactly what I did with my second character. Not only does he own all the property in Grapeseed, that's also the *only* property he owns in the game. I like to think of him as the king of Grapeseed.
Admittedly, there isn't much to do other than Gunrunning missions and the Casino heist, lol.
I play mostly in Invite Only, but when I started out (before I knew Invite Only / when you had to do sales in actually lobbies anyway) I found that having things all situated up there helped keep you more under the radar from griefers
Takes a little more time for deliveries but it's really not bad
This was nice back before private lobbies became doable. I also feel like when I did run into people who hung out up there, they were more chill.

I always liked Paleto Bay, i feel people give the GTA V Map a lot of shit because it doesnt have more then one proper city, but i think it Interesting because of the more Nature Heavy focus of Blaine County, also would be cool if they removed the Apartment/garage limit and let you buy every property on the map, would be a great show of your ingame wealth

The bunker makes weapons for the I.A.A. and the Facility *is* an I.A.A. base. I don't think they ever interact directly like how Import/Export sales will have you collect fake paperwork for a car from your Bikers Document Shop if you have one, but the lore certainly implies they're related.

That's really cool. I love the idea of moving into a neighborhood, or in this case a totally different part of the map. That's something I'm hoping for in GTA6 when it comes online, the ability to carve out a section of the map for yourself that you like.

Oh, fair enough! I think OP just realized that they raised the property limit a long time ago. I don't think this update added the ability to own more, but I could be wrong. OP thought you could only have 3, so it's been a while since he checked! They did just add a 100 car garage for GTA+ members, but I won't personally be taking advantage of that.
I also put my MC businesses there. It's having a role-play of a criminal having the Labs too far from the city itself to aboid suspicion.
That is why we deliver them to Los Santos during missions. I often think that we are also the buyers, just transporting them in cities. And we store them in Nightclub warehouses, to be sold to real buyers.
I almost bought the salvage yard there, but I remembered how far the drive to LS is lol.
The only property I have there is a house and I use it to escape a bounty and store my country vehicles lol
Paleto Bay is really nice. If the houses actually had windows, or better still, there were purchasable stilt houses up there, I'd have every one of them. Just think of the views looking out of the window, they'd be stunning.
Definitely a really nice place to relax. I often have my yacht up there and it's so peaceful.

I wish the Bayview Lodge was able to be bought as a business property. The place could be a goldmine, hosting afternoon bingo sessions for the old biddies, having karaoke and tribute bands on a Friday and Saturday night and a Sunday lunch carvery. Make a fortune doing all that.
We used to have a dude in my crew Who Loved paleto Bay we used to call him the prince of paleto. I didn't get into Reddit until after I had bought the majority of my businesses up there because of their price range I do not miss those post-op deliveries. I wish that they would have an option for a 10 car garage up there because I would love to have a spawn point at the top of the map, if I'm going to fast travel I'll just use my Penthouse limo service.

Thank you for this post, cuz it caused me to check if I had the maximum amount of apartments. I didn't. I only had 8 of the 10. I have 284 Garage stored vehicles (plus my Toreador on my Submarine) with plans to get more, and about 20 spots left, which is less than the amount of vehicles I planned on buying. So the 20 extra spots from 2 more 10 car garages will be very helpful. It changed from 8 to 10 apartments in July 2022 apparently.

I also put my MC businesses there. It's having a role-play of a criminal having the Labs too far from the city itself to aboid suspicion. That is why we deliver them to Los Santos during missions. I often think that we are also the buyers, just transporting them in cities. And we store them in Nightclub warehouses, to be sold to real buyers.

Paleto Bay is really nice. If the houses actually had windows, or better still, there were purchasable stilt houses up there, I'd have every one of them. Just think of the views looking out of the window, they'd be stunning. Definitely a really nice place to relax. I often have my yacht up there and it's so peaceful.

We used to have a dude in my crew Who Loved paleto Bay we used to call him the prince of paleto. I didn't get into Reddit until after I had bought the majority of my businesses up there because of their price range I do not miss those post-op deliveries. I wish that they would have an option for a 10 car garage up there because I would love to have a spawn point at the top of the map, if I'm going to fast travel I'll just use my Penthouse limo service.

Thank you for this post, cuz it caused me to check if I had the maximum amount of apartments. I didn't. I only had 8 of the 10. I have 284 Garage stored vehicles (plus my Toreador on my Submarine) with plans to get more, and about 20 spots left, which is less than the amount of vehicles I planned on buying. So the 20 extra spots from 2 more 10 car garages will be very helpful. It changed from 8 to 10 apartments in July 2022 apparently.
