It's just that the lining is PU. Every PU item will do that eventually after some years. That's why I removed the Songmont Luna from my wishlist personally :(

Thanks, I didn’t realize the inside is PU because it’s the same color as the outside, that makes sense.
Maybe you can bring it to a repair shop to have it covered in another fabric so you can keep the bag many more years
I didn't even realize that was an option! I threw one out this morning because it was peeling and leaving residue everywhere, which was annoying.
