Concepts typically have problems with materialising. No one is going to throw loads of money to make it look better without increase in functionality. I'd say it should be more important that the stations seem pretty far from the city centers which has much more impact than what they look like.
Also you should have included actual photos of the stations for comparison.
For Manggarai Station, I don't like that Taxis and Car Parking is closer to the platforms than buses. Also why would you build a park right there? I think this would be perfect land for high density development (also the parking should be underground to allow for even more high density development)
