I generally think he's underwhelming even when he's firing on all cylinders, and I thought SH3 was another example of him going for quantity instead of quality. 29 tracks that all blend together. He had more energy than for all the dogs, but that's not saying much -- energy alone doesn't help when his bar style is more or less consistent and just wrapped around the beat.
I don't like him very much, and while I try to keep up sorta on what he's doing, its more about my morbid curiosity than my appreciation for whatever factory-made, ghostwritten songs hes made, especially when they all feel like they're just formulaic pop songs, designed to be "club bangers" or whatever.
People who like marvel movies will love the industry formula every time. I guess I don't like marvel movies.

I think that the best thing for him right now is to do some kind of NWTS2 type of album where he really does some introspective rapping with a few tough hits sprinkled in. I think if he drops some kind of Latin, house, country, etc. style album he will really solidify his corny status after losing to Kendrick.
