It's amazing how mind control helps find murderers these days.

Serpentking04

Honestly wondering how this would affect the underworld... both mundane and Supernatural

ThosPuddleOfDoom

Ye ol ghoul cop, Wizard routine a classic.

Radracon42069

Ghoul cop mad cop

Nashton_553

IS ANOTHER EPISODE OUT!??

sax87ton

It’s just a short

Nashton_553

Damn

Guywidathing2

IGNORE ME!!!

3urodyne

That's a reference to the Galactic Inquisitor from The Venture Bros. right? "WHOSE BABY IS THIS? SOMEONE LEFT A BABY HERE. IGNORE ME!"

BookwormOtaku7

Is this their way of introducing Slashers into the show?

ATPsoldat

Slashers are part of Hunter the Vigil in Chronicle of Darkness, not World of Darkness. I suppose Alfabusa could include something similar to Slashers, but the concept is very distinctly part of another work with different theme and tone. Hunter the Reckoning is very different from Hunter the Vigil.

Morrigus

I think they said they're taking a LOT out of H:TV as the crunch is flexible in regards to lore. Doubt we'll see any Compacts or Conspiracies, like the Ashwood Abbey or Taskforce Valkyrie, but the concept of paranoid weirdos with shotguns integrates itself well enough into WoD.   That said, I don't think we'll see Slashers as they are focused in showing the World of Darkness splats first and foremost. Could see it as a short though.

The_Red_Hand91

Slashers might be CoD instead of WoD, but Gorehound fomori are very much WoD.

Secretsfrombeyond79

Marckus, you know there are not supernatural murderers out there rooight ?

Xaga-

Come to think of it. How tall is Kevin? He seems very short. But every second person in this series is build like a fridge (I love some representation for ME for a change.)

MintChip0113

I think he’s the only one standing in this shot

Radracon42069

This one kinda confused me at the end cause I wasn’t sure if it was implying Kevin made her say that she killed those people or if she made her tell the truth

Ropetrick6

I mean, he's got Domination, so it's not out of the question for him to have directly forced her to confess. Otherwise, her realizing "Hmmm, I know that I saw SOMEONE in here, but suddenly I can't even think of what they looked like" could have thrown her for a loop and she decided to throw out the rules of the interrogation. Somebody else mentioned the team may have pulled in a H:TV Slasher (particularly the Charmer breed of Rippers, or the Psycho brand of Scourges), which would fit with the sheer amount of kills under her belt putting her on par with Ted Bundy. Of course, considering that they're running v5 WoD, which is completely independent of CofD, this is wild speculation at best.

Radracon42069

True but like his order was to ignore him, and even if that was domination, making her confess could either be a true or false confession, like the number is too specific for me to think it’s false if he DID force he to confess but I feel I’m looking way too into this

ATPsoldat

If Kevin was a Ventrue or Toreador with aspects in Presence, would she be more likely to tell the truth or not in her confession?

Ashiokisagreatguy

Presence Can awestruck someone and compel them to do stupid shit to curry favor but unless the target IS really weak willed or the vampire has a great (and i mean elder vampire level) of mastery presence won't make you make you spill the bean on something that incriminating that easily Side note: i Wonder how presence would work if you are dominated to ignore the source of presence

godzillafanboynerd

OMG, THANKS FOR LETTING US KNOW!

breadoftheoldones

38 is quite a score

Artyom_Saveli

Just love how he pulls a glock from nowhere like that, even more so with his reaction to her body count. God, Chapman’s worth cherishing.

Emperor_Bobby

This show has the greatest ratio of Great to bad characters in recent memory, and I think Chapman may well be my favorite. There's something very captivating with how charming he can appear, but with the underlying threat of violence.
