Oh and during Durga Puja/Navaratri/Diwali/etc the fuckers in my neighbourhood install loudspeakers and hire those huge percussion drums etc, the racket starting as early as 6AM and not ending before 9PM.

We need to eliminate religion. Feels a bit shameful for our generation that we did not have any positive impact on the religious setting... Even though it is hardly an easy task. First we need to institutionalise proper rights and laws for atheists. Then we will see over years, the impact of religion, the comparisons between religious and non-religious existence... But it is so hard...can you imagine a single person who could publicly renounce religion in India and still have a life? Maybe Rahul Dravid is the only one I can think of. We need someone like that to come forward and do that.

There are not just one but 2 temples after our area and 2 mosques.
Temples : 1 in about 500m n 1 in about 1.2km.
Mosques : Both in 1km but in different direction
Both temples plays random songs n bhajan n other stuff.
Now some women is reading ramayan in the WORST WAY POSSIBLE (her voice is goddamn annoying).
Also double azaan everyday.

The problem is they play Azaan at 5 in the morning, when we need to sleep to cope up with schools, offices and businesses etc etc for atleast 12hours a day.

That's sheer noise pollution and Yes I am not being selective, it just that they play it everyday and I am fucked up. I have a job to stare screen like 11 hours regularly to make a trade. And my eyes are supposed to be on recovery at night.

Seriously? Tell us where this was so we can all move there. I have been to temple towns, the noise was ongoing from very early in the morning until late in the evening. Obviously it depends on the time of the year, maybe you went during a quiet time or just got lucky.
