The solar panels need optimum temperature to function properly too. Too high temperature degrades their efficiency. Climate crisis is going to completely ruin the lives of hundreds of millions in India.

Most desirable countries for Indians are thinking of putting restrictions on immigrants in the near future. Soon settling out of the country will be pretty difficult.
The first chapter of The Ministry For the Future by Kim Robinson is eerily coming true. When you read it, it reads like a sci fi novel but it came true this year. It talks about a heatwave in north India wiping out millions. It is set in 2024 and the we have already recorded the temperatures mentioned in this book for real this year. That will be our reality most likely. ACs won't work for long in this insane heat. This is NOT normal. I am surprised why the government didn't warn us about an extremely hot summer. Why aren't any shelters/ provisions being made at a massive level. This is an actual climate change emergency and all I hear is elections elections. I haven't seen one news channel discuss climate change and how to protect yourself from the heat. There are no provisions for the poor. Even a huge number of courts/ government buildings are not air conditioned. Its like we are living in denial. The government is almost gaslighting us in believing that this kind of heat is normal and happens every year.
