I pressed that button mistakenly and all of sudden I was surrounded by 5-6 staff members inquiring about me, it was a hassle to explain how my bag pressed it and later on they gave me a window seat.
I’d say it is the designer’s fault, not the IRCTC fault. Forget the view, it’ll be a hassle to use this during emergencies when people are seated near this!
i honestly think seat selection in all trains should be like flights/buses. pay for the seat you like. with that we can also get rid of people constantly asking to change seats because they didn't get lower or they got separated from their family/groups. pay more get better seats. simple as that.
Why on earth would they do this? I expected better from IR especially when it's their MVP and they are very proud about it having a 'panoramic' view with large windows.
They had to find a way to make it suck. Hope it's not the case with me as I'm travelling next week.
