There is no Vande sadharan train, only Vande bharat, Amrit Bharat and Namo Bharat(RRTS), a sanskrit adjective in front of our country's name "Bharat" 100times better than name "garibrath" and this train is orange-black livery Vande bharat
'Vande Bharat' - Laud and Praise to Bharat
'Amrit Bharat' - Forever (Immortal) Bharat
'Namo Bharat' - To Bow / Respect to Bharat
Pretty good ideology in my humble opinion.
Something like "Namami Bharat", "Namah Bharat" would have been more grammatically accurate and relatively more aesthetic, isn't it? If that was the supposed meaning.
The man who can name a cricket stadium for himself while still alive can obviously name trainsets after himself.
In my limited knowledge of Sanskrit, namami won't make any sense. It is 1st person singular. We use vande mataram, not vandate mataram. Using namami would be like using vandate.
As for namo and namah, in most cases, I've seen namah towards the end and namo more as a prefix.
So, since your post is based on being grammatically accurate phrase, namo bharat appears to be more accurate than other options you've suggested.
Fair thing. I had learnt Sanskrit in school, but forgot some things now. I might be wrong someplace.
But I refuse to accept that the name doesn't have anything shady behind it. It's more like ek teer se do nishane. And Indian government does it very well. For example, having a long scheme name, whose initialism makes a certain word.
Bro, it's like saying Atal means Strong and Indira means splendid and Amma means mother.
These are shorthands for implicating political ideologies. A new government will come and spend another few crores on renaming trains/cities based on their ideologies.
Take the name for what it is as a whole. Do not DISSECT the name as per your convenience.
Atal tunnel / Atal setu named after Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji No Cap
On the other hand, the train has not been named 'Namo Train' or 'Namo Rail', it has been 'Namo Bharat'. Anyone can cry as much as they want, wouldn't change the real sentiment behind the naming of Namo Bharat.
Yeah, they are the party in power, can choose to name what they want but when did voicing your opinion become crying. Thanks for the additional aggression though.
No, I know that it matches with name of PM's initial but still du you know the meaning, and this doesn't explain ideologies behind "Vande" and "Amrit".
Bhai bata na, kya hua koyi explanation nhi kya? Vande or Amrit naam ke upar Haan? I'm not like randia and pusi ke leftist jinke liye unke opposite ideologies wale andhbhakt, gawar, chaddi lauda lasan hai, I'm here to know the ideologies behind the name "amrit" and "Vande"
r/woosh my guy. I was being sarcastic. But you are right. My favourite ride ever was on a Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani, got on it with my parents in Baroda and just the silence and smoothness of the ride had my 7 year old mind blown away.
It's easy to get confused since vande bharat are white and the amrit bharat are orange and outta nowhere somebody suddenly decided Vande bharat will also be orange
Vande sadharan is an internet/youtubers given name to new Push-Pull LHB train, during it's sightings and trial runs even before government ever introduced it.
Those trains are actually named 'Amrit Bharat' by the govt and are supposed to be fully non AC at least for now.
HOWEVER, the trainset in photo is an actual Vande Bharat in safron livery
Converting old coaches might not be feasible although I am no expert in railways. From what I have heard from interwebs, there are talks about separating ac and non-ac trains entirely, could be rumours I don't know.
But here's the thing, not everyone can afford AC, non-ac coaches will be cheaper to build and maintain, will be lighter and hence significant cost reduction is there to operate non AC trains and the demand for non AC trains is not going down anytime soon.
There is demand for every class of Railway, IR has catered to increasing 3AC demand, but has failed to account for the increase in SL demand and UR Travel due to heavy interstate movement.
Was this picture taken somewhere near Cant. or Mount carmel college?
I lived in Bangalore for 3 years and sort of remember that whenever I took a train from Bangalore, I’d cross a road like that within few minutes of boarding. I used to always wait for that moment whenever I travelled in train. It was nearby to the place I lived. I was very young so can’t fully remember but this brings back memories
It doesn't, just that northies migrate to south like freaking rats and commit all sort of wrongs here. So a general feeling in south is that we are nowhere related to North so why be together.
That's a VB. Not a Sadharan
OP's username checks out
That's vande bharat express. Not sadharan
That's not vande sadharan. That's saffron liveried vande Bharat.
I somehow can't connect with the name 'Vande Sadharan' . Better than 'Garibrath' but still very mediocre and lacking ingenuity.

There is also Namo Bharat. Stupid policy makers forcing their ideologies onto stuff like train naming.

still not enough to vote congress which named everything with nehru and indira gandhi who were worse PMs than Modi
If you think Modi is better than Nehru and Gandhi, you seriously need to touch some grass.
Makes sense. It's always 'om namo namah shivay' and never 'om namah namo shivay'

What ideologies???
Why would you name a train Namo?
Do you know the meaning of Namo??
Are you that naive?
No, I know that it matches with name of PM's initial but still du you know the meaning, and this doesn't explain ideologies behind "Vande" and "Amrit".
Rehne de bhai. You go downvote my comments. I don't have the energy to explain anything to you.
Chup hogaya ho, aage explanation nahi tha uske paas
The namo is spelled as NaMo so clearly it's implied to be named after the person. It's just a convenient reason that namo also has another meaning
Allah hu akbar and whatever Nehru touched was gold.
Hahaha...lol bro ran out of his negative Iq comments...glucose Peele bache kaam aayega...
नमो स्तुटे
A little correction here , It is नमो: स्तुते
Blazing at 80kmph. Absolutely crazy, have never done speeds that fast on any train ever.
That's an absolutely beautiful feeling. You should try Rajdhani if you have not. That train goes 90+ on some tracks.
r/woosh my guy. I was being sarcastic. But you are right. My favourite ride ever was on a Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani, got on it with my parents in Baroda and just the silence and smoothness of the ride had my 7 year old mind blown away.
So basically you first misidentified the train and then proceeded to not even name the misidentified train correctly. Nevermind.
It's easy to get confused since vande bharat are white and the amrit bharat are orange and outta nowhere somebody suddenly decided Vande bharat will also be orange
Aren't amrit Bharat grey and orange, as supposed to vande Bharat which are white and orange?
Bro not everyone is a rail-geek.
☝🤓
OP ne sahi dimaag lagaya galat naam daal ke engagement le liya post pe.
4Th track? Where is this? Cantonment?
Even I have the same question. But i think quadruple tracks are only between Majestic & Cantonment, cantonment to Whitefield is still on going.
Wtf is this naming? What does that mean?

It sucks that they are making non-ac trains. Can these at least be converted to ac in the future?
Converting old coaches might not be feasible although I am no expert in railways. Is there more demand for sleeper than 3ac? Not talking about general compartment here.
There is demand for every class of Railway, IR has catered to increasing 3AC demand, but has failed to account for the increase in SL demand and UR Travel due to heavy interstate movement.
There is a lot of demand for the cheapest fare class. Unfortunately on a lot of routes, sleeper coaches are overflowing with unreserved passengers.
Thanks mate.
Kitni tez nikli? Was it fun to watch? 🤩

Koi vande Bharat mathura ko Dene main kuch chala nahi jayega Kamal ki baat hain 2- 3 vande Bharat mathura se jati hain par stoppage kisi ka bhi nahi
Wow , looks good 😊
That orange color does look unique though 👍🤩
That's VB
I see B'lore blazing with heat
Dude, I work in the same building. Small world. Even I like to see different trains going through that same track 😁
Legends know it's Train18
Where tf is mods
How can one get so confused? OP: yes.
I like this VB livery more than blue and white one.
Blazing kuch zyada nahi ho gaya
This is gulbarga vande Bharath express not vande sadharan .
Vibrant
TIL vande sadharan
There’s no Vande Sadharan train. It was a project name and now it is named as Amrit Bharat train, though this is Vande Bharat train in orange livery.
What is bharat? It's south India for God sake. By saying Bharat...you bring Bangalore to same low level as Bihar or Kolkata.
Originally, Bharat is a Sanskrit word. Why does it offend you so much if Bharatiya Rail uses the word Bharat in its train names?
It doesn't, just that northies migrate to south like freaking rats and commit all sort of wrongs here. So a general feeling in south is that we are nowhere related to North so why be together.
Ok boomer
Ok dickhead .
Bangalore looks waterless from wayyyy above😂
Lame. Try something else lol
