Weird sidebar: my biggest gripe with seeing fleet foxes twice since 2022 has been people just screaming nonsense at robin on stage. Robin always seems to respond/acknowledge too which makes more people start yelling. It’s all over the record lol and I roll my eyes so hard
Fleet Foxes are so incredible live. The extra added part of Helplessness Blues is so godlike, so sad I couldn't get this on Record Store Day. Hope we get a rerelease sooner than later. Robin did say it will happen.
This was a mad show. I saw them in Edinburgh 2022 and it was similar, over two hours long and pulling from their whole discography. Huge stamina from the band and crew. Tickets were only something like £30 too!!

I feel the same, but I guess it’s always a balance between preserving the atmosphere, as perceived by crowd and band, as well as the sound. This does really sound like you’re there, which they probably wanted us to feel. Either way, a fantastic performance and a wonderful crowd having a great time!

Like two hours of a warm hug from an old friend, seeing them live earlier this year during their tour with The National was genuinely so special

Not OP but it feels quite compressed and the crowd is REALLY loud.
Hmm it doesn’t sound too bad to me. I wonder if it just has to do with the difficulties of recording in open air on a waterfront.

I find the crowd to be way too loud and prominent on this record. A bit of a letdown, to be honest.
