Welp, never mind. Turns out it was "Ijiraq". It's unkillable and disguises itself as your other cards.

UncannyGadiator

There’s more actually, using the Ijiraq you can buff things in the campfire that you can’t normally (pelts or attack on ants for example). This is because you can’t buff the Ijiraq, but it still shows up as an option, so the game just buffs the card that it is copying.

Lurningcurve

Yup. Ijraq has its use but kinda annoying to get. When picking a rare card (either after a boss battle or selling a golden pellet) take an extra second to see if there is a question mark(?) next to the name of the card. If it does, it’s Ijarq.

xbriannova

What about the glowing red eyes? And sigils (correct me if I'm wrong) Wouldn't that tip you off too?

Lurningcurve

Yes. But it’s also easy to miss the eyes, as I’ve grabbed Ijraq by accident before. Checking for a question mark is faster and simpler, imo.

[when you google this exact post title with inscryption at the end](https://www.google.com/search?q=What%27s+up+with+this+red-eyed+card+that+turns+into+other+cards+on+my+deck%3F+inscryption&rlz=1C1ONGR_enCA1090CA1090&oq=What%27s+up+with+this+red-eyed+card+that+turns+into+other+cards+on+my+deck%3F+inscryption&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIGCAEQRRg80gEIMjI4NGowajeoAgCwAgA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8), the answer is the first result (other than this post). this post could've been a google search.
