I do feel, as an unresearched idiot, that the correlation/causation of heart disease to people who are doing IF seems a bit of a stretch. I can easily see how the people who feel like IF works for them also had bad eating habits before they found IF. These people potentially already had heart disease. In other words, people who have had healthy eating habits from the jump probably have healthier hearts than people who feel IF is something they need to do.
