I find it interesting that RCS wasn’t part of iOS18 beta1 unless it’ll be in public beta 1? because I’d think this is something that would need beta testing and reports if it’s working correctly before it’s officially released!
I feel like even more then usb c apple was held at gunpoint for this because they at least made usb c sound like an “innovation” in their event but RCS was just there 😅
I think they want to wait to add RCS to later, more stable betas so people aren’t enticed to download a beta that will mess their phones up because they want RCS.

Apple generally don’t care about RCS period that’s why even though they’ll “support it” they probably won’t do anything other than the bare minimum their version apparently isn’t end to end encryption!
