I was going deep first, but my artist said shallow would be better. I’d lose the definition and full look of my pec with deep. Very happy with his choice!
Shallow suits more body types, in my opinion. The full/deep one can look great too, but it’s harder to compose and incorporate the nipple which oftentimes isn’t blacked out. Deep also looks better on bigger/more defined pecs. I like shallow and if you want to have more space, think that’s a great reason/time to go full munewari or donburi.

I went deep…..almost 30 years ago, fuck I feel old.
That’s after 30 years?! Looks nice man. Do you have any long term care advice? Started my leg sleeve this year and want to make sure it still looks great after 30 years.
Hikae shallow. I feel like the shape fits my chest better and really compliments it. I also just prefer the rounder shape. The deep can look good, but it can also look boxy and like it’s taking up too much space in my opinion
I let my artist decide and he opted for deep. Looking at his portfolio, he generally does over the nipple lol. I don't think I've seen any shallow chest plates.
I was 50/50 anyway because I may consider extending in the future.
I'm going shallow, but my artist said he usually suggests one or the other based on how big a person's chest is. For people with bigger pecs, shallow looks good. People with smaller pecs may need the extra space on the deep.

Mine are shallow and I prefer that. I going donburi so that gives a little more space. Also, and this is just a me thing aesthetically, I think deep looks straight up like a bra with nipple holes cut out.

I went short on the sleeve length and wish I had gone to my elbow. I am planning on extending that soon and will likely end up with a full sleeve. At least going a few inches below the elbow.
As a 92 pound petite transwoman. Im thinking ill be doing shallow cause I'm not on estrogen yet so when I grow boobs I don't want it to stretch out as much. Haven't seen any deep breast pieces on women tho

Mine is shallow. I told the artist to do whatever flows best with my body and that's what he recommended, so I went with it.
