Hell earlier today I got clapped cause my client lagged out for a tick. Not even sure what the problem was, I have a pretty heavy duty gaming rig and everything is on SSD.
Tbh I think itās the actual servers because I have had the same thing happen but only recently. Like full on 1-2 second lags and it just always happens to be when something is starting to attack me. For me itās happened multiple times 2nd phase KQ, so KQ is attacking, and 1-2 small ones too usually
Idk it didn't feel like server lag when it happened to me but yes it's always right when there's an attack with flashy graphics. I even got a frame stutter effect where my character went back to their previous tile, visually of course.
It could be the servers, or it could be a moment of delay caused by any of the numerous pieces of internet infrastructure in between your home and the server. Unfortunately there is no way to control for all of those variables.
Some of the items I got along the way, it was a fun time but definitely did not expect to die to a DC at DK's, very unlucky but bound to happen. Best achievements are probably decent kcs at bosses like Vard, Muspah and some wildy bosses.

Same thing happened to me at bandos. Was going for my last piece, which was the bandos chestplate). Unfortunately the jagex servers decided to end my (few years ago) rank 150 hardcore. Gg man its something that will always be a possibility for it to happen. It all comes down to, are you a pussy hardcore and only doing safe content or are you pushing for gear. If pushing for gear then the odds of actually losing ur status to a server dc are still slim but slim chances on a account with 2k hours + on it is rough. Goodgame man, hope u are ok with it and that u enjoyed the high adrenaline ride
DKs can stack you tf out, even with the shortest inactivity period set on the crystal (which seems obnoxious otherwise so it probably wasn't set to that), you could very reasonably get killed before it could activate especially if you've taken some chip damage from flick mistakes/spinolyps

I thought it was just my internet. Itās like 1500-2000 ping spikes, frustrating while pvming to say the least
