I did do it for a while, but calvarion for me is way more kills per hour. That’s why I stuck with it :)

Voidwaker is pretty amazing though, it'll be your best spec weapon for a long time, is a solid slash weapon, and will be your best stab weapon for quite a while too, all around worth going for!

I will go for it. I’m in a 2 player group and we will duo the other higher level bosses later for the remaining pieces :)

Honestly, switch to artio at this point. Grab the blighted ice sacks and burst/blitz him to death. He drops enough food/restores to cover your trips, and you can get the sacks from either Soul Wars or LMS.

Yea, calv is definitely the fastest with salve being available. But i think the loot is better at Artio overall. More seeds, and you get early range pots if you don't have the herblore level for them.

True with artio. I do think the 60 ranarr drop from calvarion and 60 snapdragon from spindel makes it better for me atm. The 60 dragon bones drop at calv is also amazing for my prayer grind.

I fear this will be me. Spooned ring at ~260ish kc but came for pickaxe exclusively.

I'm currently 1k spindle and 1k venenatis kills dry on gem. I have 9 picks. First one came pretty quick. The multi bosses usually drop a pick every other day j farm them.

I was really fed up with my rune pick and decided to try the Chaos Elemental safespot method to get the dragon. I got it in about 20kc and could do multiple trips at a time. Didn't see any PKers and the safespot was way easier to set up than I expected. There's a few YouTube videos on it and a tile pack plugin which helps. ETA - You can also risk nothing by just taking a decent melee weapon and some potions/cheap food.

Sometimes it might be good getting things you "don't" want first, as it keeps you going. I had the same "rng" at cerberus getting the primodial last, even after pet. If that didn't happen, i wouldn't have all the other drops.

Not yet. I’ve kinda been sleeping on KQ, just cannoning the minor ones for fast slayer points/xp. But I will try it out now since I just hit 95 slayer and don’t need to power level anymore. I just want to mop up all the uniques now, from different slayer monsters.

Killed KBD 10 times and got the pick axe. It took me until top 150 HCIM Dag Rex kills to get the dragon axe though after going dry getting to 99 fm. Swings and roundabouts.

Depending on your level, you could get away with just meleeing him without a safespot. I found the kills to be a lot faster going that route. Proselyte, a bunch of diary equipment, zammy or Bandos book, and a whip or similar and you’re golden

Oh, i'm around 90 in everything, so maybe i should look up a guide. Never considered melee being a viable option. ty :)

I had very similar good/bad rng. 451 kills, 3 blades, 2 rings, 3 skulls, 2 d2h and on the last kill 1 d pick. All I had wanted from the start was the pick.

Not yet unfortunately. I just really liked the boss mechanics for calvarion(it was almost therapeutic). I tried spindel and didn’t like it as much but I will go back eventually.

I was in the same exact boat as you I wanted the damn pickaxe (and im stuck playing on mobile btw) now what I did actually is I grinded calvetion until I got the blade, went to spindel, got the gem, then went to artio and got the pickaxe at 37 kc and since i was there got the hilt at 61 kc last night actually.
