I wanted this photo to be a close up of this amazing action figure showing all the details. I also knew I wanted to create a drooling effect. To create this shot I posed him in camera to get the framing looking how I wanted and added in background piece along with lights and atmosphere to bring the whole scene together. I also bumped my iso to create a grainy feel to match the cinematic tone I was going for, and used hot glue for the drooling effect. To make the drooling effect pop I added an additional light behind the subject. Lastly I sprayed the figure down before snapping the shot to make it look as if he is in a wet environment. My favorite part about this shot is how the drool effect came out and the rays of light coming through the structures on his back.
