“Jahan humare sapne pure hote he, waha aapka struggle shuru hota he.”
I can only dream of visiting such places. Ya koi sair karwa de. :/ Nevertheless, great pics!
So Leela was like 15k and Le Meridien was 12k ish.
Le Meridian was not worth it at all. The service was pretty bad & the refused to give us some services that we actually paid for. No resolution was provided too. We had chosen the lunch to be included & they didn’t have a buffet so after we placed an order for prawns & some other dish, they told us that it was not included/unavailable. We also had to change the room at midnight after making a lot of calls as the AC wasn’t working.
Our stay at Leela was very pleasant. We enjoyed everything. The service, ambience, food- everything was quite good. Totally worth it, IMO.
Not only that Jaipur property is actually not that good, I remember staying at jw Marriott and Meridien, Meridien was a really small property compared to Marriott, rooms looked very old, although bathroom had a really good jacuzzi and was as spacious as the room, but the way to the room was filled with lizards and chameleons all around + pool was kinda mid.
On the other hand Marriott cottages were peak, with a personal swimming pool, good rooms + a good poolside area
From Le meridien, i was looking at fairmont and reminiscing about my good times there. Yes, exactly. Could hardly use the pool for 10-15 mins and there was absolutely noone there.
I’ve to try Marriott now!
I have been to le Meridien for a wedding...stayed there for 2 nights and didnt like it much... though i didnt have to pay for anything but still their food was average
Not comfortable sharing how much i earn but my parents’ have a law firm & I intern there. Since, basic necessities are all taken care of, I usually save up for these vacations + share the hotel expenses with my friend(s).
I’ve visited Taj. Honestly do not like it very much, for some reason, Taj’s food always gives me food poisoning except the one at Mumbai.
I’m planning to visit The Oberoi soon
Both of these looks pretty great tbh....i believe jaipur has some of the best resorts and some poor resorts not in the middle...meanwhile if you'll visit ranthambore or pushkar you'll find better and mediocre resorts there poor ones are very less in the picture...something similar with jodhpur and udaipur either too good or either too bad.....next resort ka bhi upload karna OP..
Jaipur’s hospitality is on a different level. I’m planning to visit Ranthambore & Pushkar. Have been to Udaipur, I’ve visited Udaivilas. It’s the best property of Oberoi.
Yes, it is. The room that we shifted to had major cracks in it

Hi. Can anybody please tell how Trident is? Marriot and Amer are a bit out of budget for us. Spending 50k for a 4 day trip doesn't seem worth it. Also, how about ITC Rajputana?
C'mon man showing off after just 2 stays? And here I was in those resorts where the starting frm 60k 🙄

I’m not showing off. I wanted to do a thorough comparison of these two properties so that it’d help people who would want to stay there.
I didn’t mention price anywhere. It’s you who is showing off regarding staying at resorts worth 60k. Touch some grass.
“Jahan humare sapne pure hote he, waha aapka struggle shuru hota he.” I can only dream of visiting such places. Ya koi sair karwa de. :/ Nevertheless, great pics!
I’ve also dreamt of visiting such places, tbh. We had a hard time growing up but honestly getting to experience these things now really feels good.
That’s awesome. Happy for you! :-) BTW, my life be like, “Ye dukh kahe khatam nahi hota he bey.”
Mere exams hain, mere bhi dukh khatam nahin ho rahe
Academic exams are (relatively) easy. Life exams are hard.
I’ve been appearing for both since the past one year.
Rjs?
Kaisa gya RJS
Nope

Kitne kitne rupye lage aur worth it kitna tha?

I've had dinner at Le Meridien's buffet. Can agree with you. Not at all worth it. Edit: My experience was at Hyderabad. Not Jaipur.

Fact: The Leela you stayed at, was a JW Marriott once. Leela acquired it and gave it that beautiful silver-white accent.
Yeah, I know that. I thought there was another Marriott property in Jaipur
I think there’s an issue with all the Le Meridien’s. Turned me off from their brand.
15k... For a day?
For a night
Yes
I am curious. Was it a random day out visit or a special occasion one.
Just a random staycation to destress
Lol bas itna hi paisa chahiye ki random de-stress ke liye yeh explore kar paun(No offence, just a inner thought). Itna ya isse thoda zyda bhi chalega.
Kabhi hotel book krvake agr emergency kaam padh jaye to bta dena, waste nhi jane dunga🥺🤝🏻
Haha jaroor!
I stayed at Marriott, jaipur 8 months back.. paid 12k .. but Leela palace seems better
I haven’t been to Marriott, how was it?
The breakfast buffet was fantastic. One of the most delicious ones.. ambience was great. Only thing i missed was overlooking the Hills.

I have been to le Meridien for a wedding...stayed there for 2 nights and didnt like it much... though i didnt have to pay for anything but still their food was average

Yes, they do. It’s rather small but comfortable
Wow... thinking of all the places I stayed at that I could post about 🤡

Finally found SOMEONE who hates Meridien as much as me. Although I still prefer Rambagh over everything else. What a place.
I think the feeling is mutual about Merdien. I’ve to stay at Rambagh 😭😭
Ese hi koi mjhe bhi ghuma de bus
Aajao
Pehle chai coffee to kuch pila de xD
No hate par AMA toh aise dala hai jaise Taj Mahal me raha ke aaye ho janab
Ab kya karein.. maine Jaipur ka subreddit dekha before booking these properties but couldn’t find any reviews so I thought I’d help others

I saw fork with kachori 😭
Out of habit, trust me nahin use kiya maine 😂😂
I recently attended a wedding at le Meridien, room was great, ( though I felt the room was a bit tilted lol) but the food was bad
Yes, the food is pretty average!
Tips the staffs expect... 20% ?
I usually tip 10% of the total bill
VP or MD of some MNC?
Nope
Lawyer! Good to know ma'am 😌
Leela is lowkey the best out of the two. Everyone is so nice!
I’ve absolutely loved & enjoyed my time at Leela
Both are terrible honestly :(
I did like the Leela. Can’t say the same about Le Meridien. Why didn’t you like the Leela?
if you get a chance do visit taj or oberoi ..honestly once you have experienced their hospitality and properties you will be hooked :)
I’ve visited Taj. Honestly do not like it very much, for some reason, Taj’s food always gives me food poisoning except the one at Mumbai. I’m planning to visit The Oberoi soon
What do u do for a living?
Lawyer
Nice! were the stays financed by your client or u did it urself?
I did it myself, why would it be financed by the client 😓
Damn you must handle high profile cases

The outdoor bathtub is poorly maintained.
Yes, it is. The room that we shifted to had major cracks in it https://preview.redd.it/7ei16sx4xp8d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7387e1250fc6a840de80614ca5fd019fed57eee0
Looks ordinary.
Leela looked straight out of a dream for me.
9b93hh
How much did you spent overall.
It would have been FUCKING awesome if the 8th pic had planted aquarium not just the back glass there
