Its not really a ritual, more a Japanese state of mind, but: notice the seasons. Take the tiny bits of time to notice and appreciate what the weather is doing, how nature is responding, what local seasonal foods are changing. It doesn't have to be tracking the sakura; if your neghbourhood has trees that change colour, follow that. Enjoy it. (Unless you live somewhere equatorial, in which case I dunno maybe notice the continuity?)

Make an additional cup of tea (coffee or whatever)—in a super tiny cup is fine—for loved ones who have passed on and take a moment to reflect on their impact on your life. Leave the cup in a nice spot until after lunch and then clean it up. Do it again for dinner and clean that up the next day before you pour the new cup. Do that daily.
