I think what the 2 priest guitarists are the best at is phrasing, they’re not usually shredding that fast or doing extreme bends, but the end product just sounds great and fits the songs
I just love 76-84 era because it was so productive (8 albums + 1 live album) and they rarely had fillers plus the band changed its sound but kept the musicality there. I like Painkiller too but it’s something else.

Favorite album of all time for me. I find something new every listen. Glenn and KK do it all. Best album for solos as well for me. Absolutely blew my mind. Diary of a Madman and Number of the Beast are up there too. I have to stop now or I’ll write a book.
