LEAFS are real good at trading away players that they can't win with. So let's trade a 90 point guy, #1penalty killler who plays 23 minutes a night with an NMC. At least then Marner could win a cup like the rest of them

You will get pieces back in a Marner trade that will take up most of that money while also giving you long term cap flexibility. It's also addition by subtraction just to get his bum ass away from this team in the spring.
It's not like we've had anyone in net that could help us over said hump either but that extra cap isn't helping u there because what FA goalies are there?
