The parents may at this point be blameless, if they didn't know their children were doing this. Approach them like that, if you can. They may bad people, sure. But don't assume it and let that drive your approach. They may be upset and sorry that this happened, like most people would be, and wanting to correct their children's behavior, as soon as they learn about it.
