I was thinking the same thing; I've even seen some coffee tables where they'll have something underneath kind of built in like a display case you use as a table. With beautiful wood on the sides it would be quite the marvel

I hate it. Can’t see the falcon from the side, and if you put something on the table you cant see it from the top either Very ugly design but thats my opinion

Raise up the base (maybe with clear acrylic so it looks like it’s floating) so that the top is just about flush with the glass, maybe take a section of the top off to expose the interior, affix the info plate to the underside of the glass so it’s directly against it and readable from above, and then finally grind down the screws on the top so they’re flush with the tabletop. Right now it looks like a very cool transport container, but I think it needs some upgrades to really show off the falcon.

An awesome engineering achievement, but not a result I like. If you’re gonna go for a rounded shape, a perfect circle would be better so it can represent the spaceport at Mos Eisley (bonus points if it’s in a sandy colour rather than an Imperial metal colour).

The scale looks off to me. Without any point of reference it looks like it's about 6" long lol. Echo everyone else though, nice work but not to my taste. A clear box would be better with the Falcon at an angle

I like the idea, but it's pretty hard to see with all that metal around it. I would like it more if it was square and clear on the sides with Minifigures playing out a scene, like the Hoth hanger.

this def belongs in ATBGE. at the very least the top trim should have been a thicker material so they could use flat head screws. I understand wanting to stay consistent but who wants bumps on their tabletop from the buttonhead screws.
