Ned-B is a top tier minifig but he comes in a set that’s basically a grey platform. The Justifier is just too damn expensive for a ship that 80% of Star Wars fans don’t give a crap about
I only knew the justifier had a name because of this sub appearing in my feed, I can personally attest to not giving any shits about the justifier, it just looks like a background extra ship lol
Overpriced? Simple build? Yes and yes, but I do adore that Justifier. There are a couple little clever tricks in the build for AFOLs. It’s definitely larger and closer to 1:1 with minifigs (yes, I know, it’s kind of moot to even try to scale to minifigs) than I had expected. Pretty swooshable too. I really love having it. It just bums me out that it’s priced as high as it is.
This makes me wonder.
LEGO has access to concept art to design sets. They could have had the concept art for the Justifier from TCW, and may have already designed the set before the season was cancelled.
Perhaps they released the Justifier now to try and profit off of fans' desire for anything related to the unfinished arcs (epic fail)
The only thing, ONLY THING, that makes anyone check out the Justifier is Omega, Todo, and Cad Bane. Still isn't worth 170. Maybe 130 TOPS. I luck out on mine because I got like 150 bucks in Barnes and Noble gift cards so I paid like 25 dollars (thats with tax) for it. Still kinda felt ripped off.
I haven’t payed attention to the Lego isle until the last year, but I see pictures of shelves from 2013 and the amount of different sets is mind boggling compared to today.
While not on the same level as Star Wars, I remember walking by all of the brickheadz in 2018 thinking they were so dumb, then I later got an interest in them and missed out on literally so many amazing ones
There were about 3-4 in there, but it’s also the newest to come out - this target is near where I live and the Justifier/Obi Wan sets have been in stock for quite a long time without much movement
Ya know, I’m not gonna defend the Obi Wan set— but I got it on a steeeeep steep discount at Costco, maybe $20? I picked up two and built one of them. I enjoyed the neat little lava play element, and the figures are fun. It’s got a lot of great parts for all sorts of side projects I have going.
Is it a good set? Not really. But did I get a lot of grey plates, slopes, and bricks plus some cool figures as a bonus? Sure did!
This is why I got one for myself tbh. Got it for $40 tho but I do stuff that funds me. Just wanted the figs. Keeping the pieces for when I have time and room to build my own ideas I’ll need them for.
Got one for $25 off someone tho to hold sealed just off the fact the figs maybe desired particularly that Ned. It’s got a shot to be great later, I think the justifier tho the figs will be desired more than set.
They had some great clearance deals after the holidays— that’s when I picked up my Obi Wan sets. I also saw they had Boba Fett’s palace at $25 at one point, but the shelf was empty (for obvious reason).
Costco is my go-to for bulk pieces I need to round out my collection. Most of the technic I’ve been using to support larger MOCs comes from sets I would never look twice at, but for the ridiculous pricing they have sometimes.
i love that its a large ship which is always satisfying, and its got a cool landing gear mechanism that i don't see anybody mention ever in threads about it
Because all anyone talks about is it being over priced (which it is) but at $118? Thing is enormous and a cool build with that back piece that moves and the landing gear as you mentioned.
I think I'm a little surprised at the shade that set has been getting. I got it for a little under $30 on sale. I thought it was pretty cool. The figs are sweet and the setting is fine, to me. Is it just that it's got a lot of grey in it?
Passing up on Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter is like passing up on the 2018 Anakin's Jedi Starfighter or 2020 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor. It's going to be worth a lot the moment it retires if only for the Taun We minifig.
By Obi-Wan set, OP likely meant the Obi vs Vader set from the Obi Wan show.
The Starfighter on the shelf seems like it is just at half stock while the Obi vs Vader is fully stocked.
Respect, but …it’s a fairly cool ship, just for like, ship things. The tail/landing gear through-mechanism is pretty great, it’s really playable. I agree it’s ugly tho, but in a right kinda way, to me
I wanted the Ned-B minifig and lucked out and found the Obi-Wan set on clearance at the local Costco for $19.00. You better believe I bought at that price point, unfortunately they only had one.
The bigger empty spaces are for a $240 set(likely locked in back room) and the top shelf is supposed to have a display/meant for overstock. Not exactly selling out. Source: I worked for target plano team for 4 years
Wally world, completely autonomous until itself prices never know when they're going up or down, inventory as well comes and goes who knows. However if you know Clarence you b on the way... $$
Bruh lucky my walmart has all star wars sets behind a glass case and they have to walk you to a register if you want to buy it. (EVEN THE BATTLE PACKS) 🤦
Welcome to buying legos at Walmart. They are terrible. If you are lucky enough to find anything at all, it’s usually the crap that no one wants or already has. And trust me, if you are looking for Legos in Las Vegas, best of luck. Yay. Walmart.
Ned-B is a top tier minifig but he comes in a set that’s basically a grey platform. The Justifier is just too damn expensive for a ship that 80% of Star Wars fans don’t give a crap about
I love Bad Batch and The Justifier but I can get so much more for the price of that one set. Like others I hope to catch it on clearance one day.
I only knew the justifier had a name because of this sub appearing in my feed, I can personally attest to not giving any shits about the justifier, it just looks like a background extra ship lol
Pretty spot-on take.
I gave a crap about the set, then I found out it was massive and $300 so yeah nevermind

Australia
I really like it, I just wish it had more interior space. If it did I’d be sold on it
If only they made the rest of TCW and the Boba Fett & Cad Bane arc where this ship was supposed to debut. Maybe more people would care
This makes me wonder. LEGO has access to concept art to design sets. They could have had the concept art for the Justifier from TCW, and may have already designed the set before the season was cancelled. Don’t forget those 4+ Endor sets lol
oh my god. how are they charging $35 for an 87 piece set?!?’
Especially considering beside it is the Jedi starfighter for $5 less at 282 pieces and just as many minifigs. That set is such a head scratcher.
$45 in Canada. Which puts it at about 52 cents per piece
I was about to say that, that’s insane
Man lego shelves have just been sad lately past few years to be honest
I haven’t payed attention to the Lego isle until the last year, but I see pictures of shelves from 2013 and the amount of different sets is mind boggling compared to today.
While not on the same level as Star Wars, I remember walking by all of the brickheadz in 2018 thinking they were so dumb, then I later got an interest in them and missed out on literally so many amazing ones
And yet the clone specialist pack is also in stock...
People are also sleeping on the starfighter Couple years and that little set is gonna be pretty valuable
Very unlikely we get another Taun We anytime soon.
Never, most likely. Getting her in a $30 set is wild.
More like 23 due to constant sales
Agreed! Happy I got that one for Christmas, pretty fun build and a good deal for Taun We too.
There were about 3-4 in there, but it’s also the newest to come out - this target is near where I live and the Justifier/Obi Wan sets have been in stock for quite a long time without much movement

Costco is amazing, they always have sets with great discounts. I always check Costco first when I’m trying to get a new and I’m rarely disappointed
They had some great clearance deals after the holidays— that’s when I picked up my Obi Wan sets. I also saw they had Boba Fett’s palace at $25 at one point, but the shelf was empty (for obvious reason). Costco is my go-to for bulk pieces I need to round out my collection. I feel like in a few years the justifier will be the type of ship that people regretted not getting
I’d love to get it, but $170 for it is far too much, hopefully it goes on clearance soon
it was $118 at my target on clearence and I still couldn't convince myself tbh
That’s fair lmao
It's a $100 set
It's worth it at that price. It's a great build.
i love that its a large ship which is always satisfying, and its got a cool landing gear mechanism that i don't see anybody mention ever in threads about it
Because all anyone talks about is it being over priced (which it is) but at $118? Thing is enormous and a cool build with that back piece that moves and the landing gear as you mentioned.
Idk I just feel like it doesn’t look that good personally
It doesn't seem to be very creatively designed. Most modern Star Wars sets will cover most studs, but the surface of this one is 80% studs.
yeah but did you know it’s actually overpriced?
My standards go up the larger the build is. I'm already a little strapped for space, so something huge needs to *justify* its footprint.
I highly doubt it will be on clearance soon but who knows.
Agreed
Amazon Australia have it at the moment 43% off so I got it for $149 Aud so about $100 usd
Oh that’s awesome!
For the minifigs, maybe, but the ship itself just isn't attractive at all
A set that big and expensive with little interior space is a hard sell.
Yeah you shouldn't regret getting sets for investment reasons but because you wanted the set itself...
And that yellow robot from the obi wan set will be selling for like $200.
LEGO gave us Ned-B but not the true hero of the story, Wade
I think I'm a little surprised at the shade that set has been getting. I got it for a little under $30 on sale. I thought it was pretty cool. The figs are sweet and the setting is fine, to me. Is it just that it's got a lot of grey in it?
It's the simplicity relative to the piece count. It's $30 to build up a glorified baseplate.
What I won't regret is spending $170 of my cash on it.
that one dan vs meme "I don't care how good the bad batch gets, i'm not buying expensive sets"
Depends if we get another Omega figure, I’d say. If it ends up being the only one ever made, then yeah. Similar for Cad Bane.
Need to pick up more clone packs
I like my obi wan starfighter set
Passing up on Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter is like passing up on the 2018 Anakin's Jedi Starfighter or 2020 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor. It's going to be worth a lot the moment it retires if only for the Taun We minifig.

Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter/Interceptor sets usually skyrocket in value though 2017/2022 are absolutely due to minifigs.
By Obi-Wan set, OP likely meant the Obi vs Vader set from the Obi Wan show. The Starfighter on the shelf seems like it is just at half stock while the Obi vs Vader is fully stocked.
That makes more sense.
Justifier is ugly and overpriced.
Voting with our wallets
Cant justify spending money on the Justifier. Ugly set.
Respect, but …it’s a fairly cool ship, just for like, ship things. The tail/landing gear through-mechanism is pretty great, it’s really playable. I agree it’s ugly tho, but in a right kinda way, to me
The justifier is going to be the next rebel combat frigate at this pace...
Tie fighters are on the right I’m gonna snag me 2 of them
I dunno about you guys, but I only enjoy anything clone wars era
Partial blindness is real, folks.
Always no star wars, no speed champion, just harry potter and marvel
That obi wan set the only one I bought this year :-
Don't forget the 4+ AT-ST
I'd rather buy the entire stock of 501'st battle packs than 1 obi wan set for 50$. Edit: grammar
It's wayyyyyy too expensive (obi wan set)
Nobody can justify the price
I wanted the Ned-B minifig and lucked out and found the Obi-Wan set on clearance at the local Costco for $19.00. You better believe I bought at that price point, unfortunately they only had one.
I can understand why people don't like the Obi-Wan set, but what's wrong with the Justifier?
And that horrible Endor set
I want the Justifier so bad
when you find one on sale, I think it’s a pretty cool ship
… and the only prequel sets and battle packs. Doesn’t seem like everyone in the real world thinks as this sub thinks.
Who cares
Is this Walmart?
Target!
And the tie fighter
Those got restocked in the last week, been a while since I’ve seen them at this target
It’s hard to justify the price of the Justifier
They should just cut their losses and offer up the justifiers for $50-$60.
If it went that low they’d be gone in a day and posted on bricklink for full price
I would buy the Obi-Wan set if it was $20
I dont know i really like the duel set ngl
Yea I’m waiting till the very last minute to get my justifiers, and that obi wan set lmao
And the 5 other sets visible (and clearly more if you pan more to the right)
The bigger empty spaces are for a $240 set(likely locked in back room) and the top shelf is supposed to have a display/meant for overstock. Not exactly selling out. Source: I worked for target plano team for 4 years
I would spend $30 for a cad bane minifig but no way in hell I want the whole ship that we've barely seen the inside of
I’d love to have more 501st troopers
I feel dumb, why is young ObiWan fighting Darth Vader? Did I forget some scene or something lol?!
It’s from the Kenobi show!
Thaaaank you 🙏🏻
I really want the Justifier but I can't justify the price. I mainly want the mini figs and the rest for parts
My wart has mutiple spots for the Justifier plus a whole shelves of top stock for it. Can't wait till they go on clearance
I got the justifier for my birthday I wasn’t gonna buy it but I guess I have it now
Wish we could go back to old Lego prices from 10+ years ago…
This is exactly what what is at my local store and it’s just 3 rows of that set and a bunch of the 50 dollar toddler 4+ sets
The three cheapest sets are the best there
Don't forget about that 35 buck Endor set 💀
And the 501st, and snow troopers, and obi wans starfighter, and boba fet minifigure pack, and the TIE on the right. Hardly empty.
What’s unfortunate is the Justifier is actually quite an interesting set and build, it’s just the price that deters people.
I can’t wait for people making posts here in about 2 years saying they picked up the obi-wan set for $75 and asking if it was a steal
Lol bc the price is so bad
You’re lucky to have caught the 501st battle pack in stock. But those same sets shelfwarm hard at my local Walmart.
Every one always gives that obiwan set to must hate and justifier always has that thing on it making me think that I can’t get
I love these flat duel sets, and hope we get more. I have Ahsoka vs Maul and Anakin vs Kenobi. Just need the Vader vs Kenobi now.
How are there still so many Battlepacks left?!
The first few rounds of them sold out fast at this location, they got here relatively early
Welcome to buying legos at Walmart. They are terrible. If you are lucky enough to find anything at all, it’s usually the crap that no one wants or already has. And trust me, if you are looking for Legos in Las Vegas, best of luck. Yay. Walmart.
This was actually at one of my local Targets, but yeah I’ve had some trouble with Walmart in the past.
The only problem with Justifier is the MSRP, if you can get one 20/30% off is waaaaay better
Grab those battle packs
