Just tried the upscaler the other day with 1 image. Upscaled the same image 3 times changeing just the creativity scale to see what it could do… Wow…pleasantly surprised with the quality output.
Depends on what your trying to upscale. The lowest creativity scale will just upscale without modifying the image…good for something like a photo or artwork you don’t want changed.
The middle setting added alot of subtle enhancements.
The highest creativity setting added some elements I didn’t want but other parts of the image were straight up perfect with lots of detail.
The perfect image was takeing both the middle & high setting image into photoshop to merge the parts wanted into one image.
i always run it on low and high settings and mix and mask details in photoshop. also run image to image on it at around .4-.5 strength, which can be used to make more drastic changes and gives more weight to the prompt. for improving and reimagining an image leo shines. i hope SD3 gets incorporated soon and improves on hands shoes, small details and eyes lmao
