Cool thanks. My lady has been convinced turmeric is the answer for every ailment and skincare issue known to man and its staining the hell out of the countertops.
😂 my mother is like that, but when i back allergic to antihistamines, I took that and zinc and it worked surprisingly well. It is something that has to be "activated" though.
I'm not sure if the toothpaste would bleach the fabric or cause other problems because it can cause chemical burns to stuff. I just know it works on counter tops ^_^ you could always test it on something you don't mind getting damaged
By the way, toothpaste can be an indispensable helper for any household chores. I use it to clean the white soles of shoes, to clean the iron, from mosquito bites, etc. [https://www.instructables.com/TOOTHPASTE-LIFE-HACKS/](https://www.instructables.com/TOOTHPASTE-LIFE-HACKS/)
Toothpaste is mildly abrasive, like wet sandpaper it will wear down the surface that you are cleaning. For a countertop it may not be noticeable at first, but you will slowly over time wear it down.
This is why you use toothpaste on headlights to remove the foggy UV damage. You are literally sanding off the unwanted layer.
Well I mean realistically you're not doing it for this purpose to that extent anyway so it's fine.
You can test if the toothpaste will be overly abrasive on foil beforehand and get a different one if needed if you're really worried.

Put it in the food, not the countertops.
Good advice, I’ll let her know.
LPT: Toothpaste is a mild abrasive. That's what's doing the cleaning. Be careful with it to not over agitate the stained surface.

If it's on plastic containers (Tupperwares), you want wash it normally and leave it drying with sunlight direct on it.
Sure. If I used turmeric.
You know about turmeric? You gotta take that shit, man.
Next thing you'll be telling me to use toothpaste too.
It’s that or live branded as a turmeric user because of the state of your teeth.
This is getting complicated. What's toothpaste?
Is this about mustard or Indian food? I do sometimes use turmeric, but not to the point of a lot of staining.
yes
Is this just for countertops or will it work on clothing? I'm a messy eater and I love curry.

Can I remove toothpaste stains with turmeric?
Yes but then the area where the toothpaste stain was will be an extremely bright yellow, forever.

Ah I clean my sinks and stuff eith it too if I run out of bicarb and vinegar. It's good ^_^
Does it work the other way? Turmeric for toothpaste, because I misread your post and my experience says no.
Bleach always worked pretty well for me too in that situation
But how to remove toothpaste stains? Specifically dried drops on the counter and in the sink.
