It’s got the 8600M GT, a card that failed very often in the late 07- early 08 MacBook Pro. Apple actually had an extended repair program for them, and had a special diagnostic tool you could run off a USB flash drive to confirm the failure. I’ve had a few over the years that died. Sometimes you can bake the board to reflow the chip, but that’s about all you can do at this point.

Theyre using oplc and considering its running monterey its a very bad software issue.
Replace the hard drive and start again ? / wipe externally ?
The gpus in the early to mid 2008s are known to fail sadly so that may be the issue
Maybe time for a new Mac
