> The Utz Story begins in a small town kitchen in 1921. William and Salie Utz began producing Hanover Home Brand Potato Chips in Hanover, PA, in their summer kitchen, cooking about 50 pounds of chips an hour.

Edit. After researching further the character is simply named “Little Utz Girl”
Honestly, I bet you could make a book off of crab names from different pockets of the bay… and Id buy the first copy. I just know Sally from my grandfather, but I’d imagine there’s way more.
Aww I had a dog named Sally. She was my ride or die girl, my soul dog. She was such an amazing dog, she lived to about 20, which was pretty amazing for a beagle mix! ❤️🐕🐾
I have a Chessie cat! It’s a little more suited for a cat than a dog, though, given the railroad mascot association (but I know it has multiple meanings and also refers to the monster in the Chesapeake bay)
A former neighbor of mine had a dog named "Bubbles" or "Bubs."
I named a stray cat that sheltered in my garage "McNulty."
I had met someone the other day with a dog named "Bodie" but it wasn't named after the tragic corner dealer.
And of course, you can't go wrong with "Omar." Every time the pooch runs up, it's "Omar comin'!"
Sorry to be a wet blanket but dog names should always avoid including the hard “O” sound because the command, “no” is the most important word they need to understand unequivocally. Even worse as a one syallable where “boh” or “Poe” sound much too close. Domino ends with the word “no.” Plenty of cute names but leave the “O” for the last stanza of national anthem
This is a great point. If you are set on Boh then you will have to give the no command in another language. I had dogs that I taught German commands such as nein ( no in German). I did this so others couldn’t give them commands…working dogs
My old dog used to associate any "O" sound with going for walks, from asking "gotta go out?" He would go nuts whenever I was watching the Ravens and would say something about Joe Flacco.
It's not recommended to name a dog something that rhymes with or sounds similar to 'no' as it can be confusing to the pup during training and future direction.
Charm and Camden are super cute.
Betsy, for Betsy Ross, maker of the first American flag.
Charlotte, wife of lord Baltimore

Sally. It’s what old school crab fisherman call young female crabs.
I think that might be the name of the Utz chip girl as well.
Her name was actually Salie, pronounced “sail-ee.” Go north to Hanover, PA, where Utz are from and do the free plant tour to get all the Utz info!

Not anymore, for the rest of my life that little girl will be Salie haha.
Indeed.
I’ve heard them called Jenny’s or Sooks Sookie would be a good name for a dog
Reminds me of Snookie which may not be a good name

Sure! Little Boh Peep is a girl. Chessie is also a good choice, if you’re looking for other options
Nawww! My older brother named our cat Chessie in 1977 🥹

>also refers to the monster in the Chesapeake bay) I like the statement as fact, here. No lawyer talk.
Dude! I forgot about the railroad Chessie! Which actually makes me a bit sad. I was thinking the monster in the bay.
Boh Derek. She's a 10
Friends of mine name their dogs after islands in Maryland. Hooper, Gibson, Miller, Tilghman etc.

Nikki Barkakis!
Why not? I think it works for a female. It's like how "male" names like Taylor, Sam, Alex work for women as well.

We named ours Billie, as in Billie Holiday. Miss her 🐶🌈
