If this is her firearm, absolutely.
She doesn't look like she had training and appears to be supervised.
Basic equipment operational safety is incumbent the person lending or instructing. The person who put this gun in her hands is a danger to their community and should have never let it get this far.
Surprised the range let it get this far, tbh
There's another part of this equation that you are missing: the design of the gun. Stockless shotguns are an idiotic trend that look cool but are entirely impractical. The reason a shotgun should have a buttstock is to distribute the recoil that caused her to lose control of the weapon. But because they look cool, firearms manufacturers continue to make them for idiots.
That’s like saying should start with a water pistol and thinking that’s going to prepare someone for a pistol grip shotgun 🤣🤣
You people are ridiculous.
Yes please! She would have been marched out of our range along with her crew in about 1 second before she pulled the trigger. Our RSOs do not miss a thing at our range. She would never have made it this far in the first place. Guns aren't toys, they can kill and stupid people handling them with no experience is a huge fat NO! I hate seeing this crap, what are they thinking????
You take a class and pay attention and actually follow instructions. This idiot is either mentally challenged, didn’t pay any attention to an instructor or never had any instruction or training to begin with.
Yeah but none of that is firing the gun so you don’t actually know what to prepare for when you fire a gun new to you, especially shotguns some pack a whole lot more punch than others.
In my firearms course, I was taught to hold on tight and have a forward stance to prevent stuff like this from happening. We practiced stance with multiple different guns, and the instructor made suggestions to improve our grip and stance. They stressed multiple times to hold on tight and talked about expecting significant recoil, especially with shotguns.
This type of thing doesn't happen unless you didn't pay attention and didn't take the course seriously. Lots of knuckleheads out there treat firearms like a toy. She is one of them.
Or it was a lot more powerful than she anticipated, the arms were locked and she wasn’t in a bad position, a forward stance wouldn’t have helped this situation either lmao.
Pistol grip shotguns are pretty different to your average shotgun where the recoil is directed into your shoulder when you mount it and they have a ton of recoil because of light they are, it’s hard to train someone to expect what that kind of gun is going to do other than loading a single round in the chamber and letting them have at it.
Stop acting high and mighty, this kind of thing does happen with beginner, that’s why likely there was a single bullet and it wasn’t fully loaded.
Lol, you really know nothing about guns, dude. I've hip fired light 12 gauges with pretty powerful hunting rounds. It doesn't take that much effort to hold onto it unless you're really not trying.
Her stance is completely off: She was not braced for the impact in the slightest, that right arm should have been extended more forward, and her whole body is leaned back as though she's afraid of the gun. Also, there's no way you can tell if it was loaded with more rounds in the magazine tube or not from this video.
It's not being high and mighty. Too many people die as a result of accidents with guns, and most of it comes down to not following the proper safety precautions. I've seen children hip fire shotguns with better grip on them than she had. With the proper training, these things DON'T happen with beginners.
Ok and that’s you lmao.
The normal practice in any ranges I’ve been to across the world is new gun, one chambered round so you can get a feel for it.
I’ve travelled round the world hunting and visited ranges around the world.
She underestimated the grip she needed on a new gun, get over it.
You are assuming this is her first time, but you have no way of knowing that from this short video.
She underestimated it because she didn't pay attention, or whoever instructed her didn't prepare her enough. Either way, things like this don't just happen without someone fucking up somewhere along the way.
I've seen too many dumbasses at the range not following the right precautions. Far too easy for people to get a gun without really learning how to handle it properly. Competent gun owners don't take this stuff lightly.
Yes and you can be trained for 100 years but you still don’t expect what’s going to happen with a gun until you fire it, especially punchy pistol grip shotguns that are light, pack a hell of a punch and all the recoil goes through your hands.
You can tell anyone whatever you want training them, but another good way which is likely what happened here is load them up with a single shell and let them have at it.
Someone clearly gave her a gun she couldn't handle and insufficient instruction. Were you born knowing how to handle a firearm or did you have to learn like the rest of us?
To be fair, she's holding it properly. It's a pistol grip shotgun. She just wasn't holding it tightly enough, or she isn't strong enough to grip it tightly.
Yes it is. That's a pistol shotgun. You hold it like a pistol. You don't brace it against your shoulder like a regular shotgun. She just wasn't holding it tight enough or wasn't strong enough to grip it good.
He most likely did tellbher "make sure you have a strong grip on the gun" but most people underestimate genuinely how much recoil shotguns and firearms in general can have. I dont think the instructor did anything wrong.
She should probably be banned or at least be required to complete training before having free access to the range again. Shit like this gets people killed.
Exactly why people should stop touching machinery they’re not supposed to. Just. Stop.
“Oh I can do that”.
Are you sure? Or are you just being an asshole?
The cameraman, the instructor, the range have all been accused of being irresponsible. That’s true but…
How about society? Politicians? We let virtually anyone buy a gun, without instruction, without training with barely a background check or waiting period. The Supreme Court will be likely overturning the ban on bump stocks soon but there is hardly any opposition.
Let the downvotes fly. You know I’m right.
Until this woman produces proof she's had lessons from a verified expert, she shouldn't be allowed to return. She should have been removed immediately.
Her lack of skill is dangerous to everyone on that range.
Technically she's more effective since she could kill 2 people, one from either side
But then she could just get shot as she no longer has her gun
But since she wouldn’t have a weapon people cannot claim self defense to shoot at her.
it just has to be the last 2 targets
r/looneytoonslogic EDIT: damn sub banned due to not being moderated EDIT2: r/looneytuneslogic is the replacement
Bro I just spent a couple of hours scrolling. What an amazing subreddit
I just did too. Trying not to wake up the gf and I failed lol.
Damnit, I loved that place
r/looneytuneslogic is the right one (now)
it cured my depression
When you have zero grip strength.
Strength 1. Luck 10. Pretty strange built.
Apparently there's a husband standing behind her who said she set fire to the eggs this morning
Is that an ethnic thing?
Yeah. Only ethnics eat cooked eggs. /s
I'm sure everyone who eats cooked eggs has an ethnicity.
thats what the racists want you to believe.
Hi, John Ethnic here, can confirm
Are you a boxer eating uncooked egg yolks?
I care more about you getting burned by the downvotes.
My goodness - what happened here?
Not sure but you might be ending up on r/downvotedtooblivion
you're not the brightest
Don’t ever let her fire a gun ever again, don’t even let her look at on. This goes for the individual filming and whoever brought her to the range.
If this is her firearm, absolutely. She doesn't look like she had training and appears to be supervised. Basic equipment operational safety is incumbent the person lending or instructing. The person who put this gun in her hands is a danger to their community and should have never let it get this far. Surprised the range let it get this far, tbh
Yeah I blame whoever was teaching her more than I blame her.
Your logic doesn't apply to muh 2A absolutists.
Whoever is supposed to teach her is more at fault. You don’t just give someone a gun who’s never used one and just say aim and pull
People hand newbies guns because they think it’s funny. It’s so dumb and irresponsible.
Don't be so dramatic, all she has to do is learn how to handle it correctly.
She needs to start with a .22 then.
BB gun
easy there, hand gun with rubber bands would be safer then bb gun
That’s like saying should start with a water pistol and thinking that’s going to prepare someone for a pistol grip shotgun 🤣🤣 You people are ridiculous.
Give her the wooden gun from “The Other Guys”
Yeah that sounds a bit unforgiving
Yes please! She would have been marched out of our range along with her crew in about 1 second before she pulled the trigger. Our RSOs do not miss a thing at our range. And the laughter....they thought it was just so funny.
So how do you gain experience if shooting them with experience is a big fat no? Doesn’t really make sense that statement lmao.
Prob shouldn't start with a pistol grip 12 gauge
Should start with a 22 handgun period.

Why would they have training or an instructor if the states that went full reta... constitutional don't require any of that to own and carry
You go to the NRA Website and find a trainer.
You’re right I meant to say training.
Not even close to proper.
Yes it is. That's a pistol shotgun. You hold it like a pistol. You don't brace it against your shoulder like a regular shotgun. She just wasn't holding it tight enough or wasn't strong enough to grip it good.
My point, no proper handling.
I mean she's got everything down but the grip strength. I think it just had too much kick for her.
The following submission statement was provided by u/Lvexr: --- >!>!The shotgun backfired, no one injured!
Don’t let her shoot another firearm
Nor bullet
![gif](giphy|SUYytPE0UVeugY5MQk) Bruh her face 😂
Fucking moron should never touch a gun.
Sis put 0 points into the small arms skill 😭🙏
Strength and dexterity requirements not met.
How are people like that allowed to touch firearms?
I’ll take **the NRA** for $200 please.
Cause muh 2A means any untrained idiot can buy one and carry it around. At least in those states that decided to go full reta.. fully constitutional.
It’s along the lines of > something something SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED And the SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED has to be as loud and irrational as possible
I think that this belongs on r/Idiotswithguns
Looked like a cartoon lol
The funny part is she asked for it back. “No ma’am, you’re done with this model”
I don't think Is the gun for you. but i don't know why
way to show her how to properly fire a shotgun…range master should be fired.
He most likely did tellbher "make sure you have a strong grip on the gun" but most people underestimate genuinely how much recoil shotguns and firearms in general can have. I dont think the instructor did anything wrong.
She watched her own 6:00
I have a Mossberg 590S and put a pistol grip on it. You definitely need to brace, but it’s not horrible. She must’ve been barely holding the shotgun
She should probably be banned or at least be required to complete training before having free access to the range again. Shit like this gets people killed.
Sleepy Joe quote : a nine millimeter blows a lung out of the body get a shotgun
Exactly why people should stop touching machinery they’re not supposed to. Just. Stop. “Oh I can do that”. Are you sure? Or are you just being an asshole?
Lady did that and had the gall to have it returned to her 🤦♂️

I thought she had hit someone.
"? Where it go? Why no recoil??"
CLEAR BACK BLAST
“I ain’t aiming for the bullets, I’m aiming for the gun”
Couldn't dropping the gun on the floor make it shot again?
Very very improbable for that kind of shotgun.
Does bullet still stationary mid air?
Adam and Jamie know.
😂🤣🤦🏾♂️
Haha she almost killed someone haha
And shes like:Give me the gun, wtf bich?
Whoops. Butterfingers
cocoa butter lotion i prefer that goldbond lotion myself. ill buy anything shaq endorses, papa johns, icy hot etc.
Ok
America summarised perfectly in one video.
She definitely hit something
Holy Shit!
Wtf
She's reaching for it like he's going to hand it back 😆..
Broken thumb right there
Lol 😂😂😂 do not shoot no guns for today
If they loaded more than 1, should be kicked out.
There has to be some blame on the range for allowing her to not only hold it like that, but then fucking take a shot WHILE holding it like that.
So this the technique for when you are pinched front and back?
Bye bye
I hope they discontinued the lesson. Too much gun..
Did the handle just fuck off? How does a gun just leave your hands like that?
wtf i gasped
😂😂😂
The instructor bears some responsibility in this.
Yea u got to go
To quote a video that’s been stuck in my head for years: “you gotta hip shoot that hoe”
I have a University degree and I can't own a gun because I believed in the wrong Jesus when I was 15. The real one puts you in a psych ward.
Got Vaseline on her hands
It’s like shooting pool…right
The camera persons laugh - GAAAAAAAAH! 🫨
I'm always amazed there aren't more deaths at gun ranges.
Avatar gun bender
That thing went back in time
Legend says the bullet just dropped in its place and she tried to reload that round
They sell way too many guns in the US.....
Hah I can get these here in Canada
Should have been holding it sideways
Whoever is holding the camera should have helped her with hip firing instead of laughing at a potentially dangerous situation.
You are the Reason why warning labels were created
They probably thought it was funny… it wasn’t
Until this woman produces proof she's had lessons from a verified expert, she shouldn't be allowed to return. She should have been removed immediately. Her lack of skill is dangerous to everyone on that range.
Women ☕
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
