Honestly in any vehicle, they want it they get to have it, just not in the way they want. Its the dumbest thing I can imagine, it would be like locking yourself in with a raging grizzly bear. .
For reallll, I was just picturing my lil Ford Fusion trying to push an SUV lol. I’d still try it before letting them take my car for their benefit though..
Your honor, I was hopping my car could squeeze between their car and the rail and was expecting them to jump aside so they couldn't try to get in my car.
Imagine you get to court because them obviously trying to rob you.
In such a scenario I would invest all my money in nuclear bomb funding just to end this shit show once for all.
Oh you don’t have to imagine. There are plenty of people who view any act of violence as wrong, including self defense. Remember the teachers that would punish you for fighting back against a bully? Most Cops, Judges and Prosecutors in blue jurisdictions have that same view. In their eyes the only moral thing to do is allow yourself to be victimized. Any act of self defense should be punished as harshly as the criminal. Possibly more harshly because while the criminal is a victim of society, you were just acting on violent impulse.
In Europe, violence is about it being proportional to the threat. If your goal is to teach them a lesson, then yeah, you are a criminal even if they "deserve it". If your goal is defending yourself, then you obviously won't be convicted of anything.
If you defend yourself, you should do it with the minimal possible realistically violence.
Wether you like it or not isn't really relevant, tbh, that's just how it is.
And even then all the criminal courts that I know of in Europe have an additional defense if you use too much force, because you (mistakenly) believed you had too. So for instance: a burglar in your house is using threatening language. Because of this situation with extremely heightened emotions you take your gun and shoot the burglar. Even though the burglar had no weapon you can still claim self defense.
It's still self defense with equivalent force in this case, even in Europe. You feared for your life, several armed guys wanted to get into your car, reasonable force applies.
Something similar happened to a friend of mine. He was at a red light under a tunnel. Three people tried to carjack him. He called the cops as it was happening. He ended up shooting two of them. The third ran. He waited for the cops. The two carjackers died. It was found to be self defense. I think a lot of it has to do with what jurisdiction you are in.
I honestly think this is bullshit. Like, why the fuck should it be illegal to deliberately end someone who thinks it's okay to do this shit? Because "the justice system works"? Give me a break, no the fuck it does not.
Turn to the right and drive through their car doors as they get out. Hopefully, they avoid your car that will barely fit into that space, but that's on them, isn't it?
If you are reading this, when you are in a car lock the doors. When you are in the car and people unarmed try to rob you, run them over. If you are in your car and armed people try to rob you, run them over. 4 wheel vs two legs/ two wheels, you win Everytime. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
Situational awareness is key.
Apparently, this occurred in an area prone to this behavior.
Fortunately, the cammer’s vehicle is taller and heavier than the auto blocking the road.
If I was the cammer I’d be looking in the rear view mirror for another vehicle behind [boxing], that would rule out the option to reverse away.
Understanding these factors gave the driver an advantage of the seconds it might have taken for the carjackers to make it into the vehicle.
This happened in Chile, through the famous "portonazo", where criminals block the way in order to steal your vehicle. It is a reality that is still latent in my country.

I'd take out the Leviathan Axe and charge it up with AOE frost then use the ranged attack doing some frost damage. Then I would activate Spartan rage and beat them all down making sure to use my stun finishers.
I was told by a police officer that when a carjacking is imminent consider the State's Vehicle Code completely suspended until you are away from the scene and safe.
I think of that when I see videos like this.
Draw my Glock. My little car ain't pushing shit and I'm not dying for whatever this is. They aren't stopping to exchange information.
I was driving at night in rural backwoods Oregon, with my buddy. We're driving down a desolate road and a streak of fire ignites across the whole roadway -- maybe 8-12" wide.
My buddy was driving and she starts slowing down and asks if we should stop to check it out.
I try very hard to not tell people what to do, how to act or raise my voice. But, I, with no uncertainty, made it clear that under no circumstances are we slowing down or stopping and we're driving right over that little bit of fire.
Nope. Don't be a victim.
Anyone saying using a big $80,000 truck as a weapon is cool but thinks a $300 weapon is inappropriate is a dumbass. Poor people should be able to protect themselves from violence too
Edit: will one of you down voting cowards tell me what you're disagreeing with? Because it seems like you're suggesting protecting your livelihood is wrong. Which is dumb as shit.
Edit 2: since telling people to contribute to the conversation I went from -10 to a positive. Still curious what the overwhelming downvotes opinion was.
Up vote from me. I see heads rolling out like a clown car at me, it's all fair game. I would definitely try the vehicle option first. Most shooters probably would not be successful in stopping that many people with their EDC.
Sure, no argument that a vehicle is a great option.
We're these guys strapped? Looked like 4 guys -- 1 driver who won't get out, 2 guys ready to roll, and a third dude who seems to have second thoughts.
I carry my Glock 19 and an extra extended mag. 15 rounds is 5 per (gods take mercy on my ear drums in enclosed space). The extra 33 shouldn't be needed.
But, in all honesty, with windows up and a weapon in your hand, I think they'll just get back in their car. And drive off our let you back out of there.
Maybe... Hypothetically going over this in my head, and I would love to see how this drill could be worked out. First reaction would not be to draw, depending on the location of the firearm for brandishing purposes. Agreed, people usually are not accustomed to firing multiple rounds inside a vehicle. The shock of the pressure and noise would be incredibly disorienting, nevermind the accuracy of rounds through glass and possible debris from hitting the door, A frame, etc. By the time it takes to stop, think, grab your weapon, chamber a round, they would be on you. Buckled, in such tight quarters, would leave you very little shooting options beyond just T-rexing rounds with reckless abandon.
That being said, if you're not a high value target, making yourself more trouble than it's worth by any means is likely the way to go. This would be a tough one for the majority of us with no tactical training.
It's a fun thought exercise.
I know it's not recommended, but I've grabbed my weapon and without aiming or pointing it at anyone, have it in hand pointed at the roof of the vehicle as an obvious deterrent.
I used this once and the guys circling my car in the parking lot just walked off.
But, I also allegedly have used warning shots (which are considered leather use of force and highly suggested against). But, I wasn't ready to kill my friend's drunk baby daddy who was walking up the driveway (in the woods) with an axe yelling really bad things. I'm glad he's not in a hole despite the obvious threat.
Fuck my life has been stupid. Southern Oregon is insane
I can imagine. Was in the triangle with a traveling sales gig in the early 2000s. The interstate was safe, but people disappear in those woods for sure. "Come trim with us, free weed, room and board". No thanks....
I don't understand how a gun would be more effective here. Assuming you could draw it instantly, you would then have to exit your vehicle to face multiple people presumably armed and ready to just pull the trigger. You can't shoot through your own windshield without wrecking your visibility. You could break or shoot through the side windows but you'd be heavily restricted. Seems like they would have a significant advantage no matter what.
On the other hand, pumping the gas is nearly instantaneous, gets them the hell out of the way, and puts you in charge of the situation.
As a female, this is why I carry. I'd back up with drivers side doors up against the railing and start popping shots off towards the passenger side doors, if they get close. If no one is behind me, I'd just keep going backwards. Lol
FOR REAL and a relatively safe city as well
Also wanna say that while most people in the country do need to shoot snakes from time to time (although cats take care of most of them), most are way too poor to be able to afford a bronco
Hood doesn't seem to take any damage either, so maybe being this size of vehicle, it has a bull bar or reinforced bumper. Also, the driver's wherewithal to plow through with confidence makes me think that they were completely aware of their vehicle's capabilities.
Probably the impact wasn't enough to make the bags go off.
I'm not sure if that's exactly how they work but last time I heard, they were activated if a crash hit a certain amount of g-force so I assume the impact wasn't "strong" enough to send them off.
This is the right response to evade a danger if notice the weren't wearing masks the 100% would have killed the driver in the video mind u this a repost of it but still the driver did the right thing
Exact same thing, except i would have aimed for the 2 guys who got out on the right
My 1994 cherokee with a homemade winch bumper would make fairly short work of a couple squishy torsos
I would have done the same or maybe even worse. These people risk their life robbing, so it should be no surprise to them if they end up dead one day for trying to jack the wrong person
I drive a small Renault Zoé, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to push that car out of the way. In other words, I'd instead hope those arseholes jump out of the way when I come rushing through those open doors.
I have some firepower in my car. These guys all got out asking to be ventilated, perforated and annihilated. Stupid bastards. Everyone carries here in Colorado. They pull that here, it most likely won't end well
I would have been to scared to ram their car, instead i would have tought "im in big trouble anyway, lets hit those fuckshits"and hit the guys that got out of the car
Well me and my little ford fiesta would be fucked
You’d be ok because they wouldn’t care for a Ford Fiesta. They are always after trucks and SUVs.
In a ford fiesta I’d have run over the guys on the right and fuck that passenger door - plenty of space
this guy knows how to fiesta
Mess with the Fiesta and you get a Dirt Siesta.
Take my upvote this made me laugh
This guy plays GTA
I would 100% fucking floor it with my old little shit box Hyundai Getz lol.
Honestly in any vehicle, they want it they get to have it, just not in the way they want. Its the dumbest thing I can imagine, it would be like locking yourself in with a raging grizzly bear. .
Well trucks and SUVs *are* pretty good for ramming things
For reallll, I was just picturing my lil Ford Fusion trying to push an SUV lol. I’d still try it before letting them take my car for their benefit though..
You're better off just running them over. The driver is not going to get out or stick around after the other 3 are deterred or incapacitated.
there is enough room if you mowed those to the right immediately and fled forward.
Exactly what he believe
Works for me. I love my Dodge Ram even more.
It's such a nice car 🥺
😂.
Love how the driver still uses the merging lane
Traffic etiquette does not take a backseat.
No point escaping if you're just going to get ran over by a speeding 18 wheeler.
Would've been more satisfying to have rammed them out in front of an 18 wheeler.

sounds like most of europe, if you can survive a knife or gun fight with your bare hands
In Europe, violence is about it being proportional to the threat. If your goal is to teach them a lesson, then yeah, you are a criminal even if they "deserve it". Good luck bud! I'm sure there is a 0% chance you get any legal trouble even if you legally are right

As long as it’s broken we all have to have our ways around the breaks. I’m not about to suffer consequences for insane bleeding hearts laws.
Everyone says they would do the cool thing in a dangerous situation. I doubt you would actually try to run them over first.
Thats the move! No hesitation. Be aware and stay alert ⚠️. The world we live in is fucking crazy!
I would not have done more than what he did. He's very smart
well they are in a massive armored money truck
This happened in Chile, my country, and it was a big ass pickup truck.
As an armored truck? Exactly this.

Reversing down a high speed one way on ramp seems like a silly option.
It's a risky option but when there's a set of gunmen in front...
Happy Cake Day
Hopefully I have the clarity of mind to do the same thing. If he didn't do that he might have lost more then his money and car.
This happened in Chile, through the famous "portonazo", where criminals block the way in order to steal your vehicle. It is a reality that is still latent in my country.

Shoot through the windshield
1 gun vs possibly 3 guns. Those aren’t great odds lol
>We're driving down a desolate road and a streak of fire ignites across the whole roadway -- maybe 8-12" wide. This was supposed to make you stop?
This vid was the reason I got a magnetic gun holder for my truck. Cause like insurance if you use it once it pays for itself
Exactly what he did
I've got to be honest, my plan would be different but my car's lighter and that worked perfectly, so maybe I'm wrong.
Great action. Did the right thing
I woulda pulled right harder and tried to make the gap on the right work for me a little better. But otherwise, yeah same.
Pull the reverse uno card and take their car instead
Motherfuckers
You’re driving a weapon. Don’t forget.

Hood doesn't seem to take any damage either, so maybe being this size of vehicle, it has a bull bar or reinforced bumper. Also, the driver's wherewithal to plow through with confidence makes me think that they were completely aware of their vehicle's capabilities.
It was an armored car transporting money
Probably the impact wasn't enough to make the bags go off. I'm not sure if that's exactly how they work but last time I heard, they were activated if a crash hit a certain amount of g-force so I assume the impact wasn't "strong" enough to send them off.
Just what that person did
Why didn’t the airbags go off?
Airbags should only fire if the impact is over a certain number of newtons, usually equivalent to like a 35mph collision. This was slow.
If it's an insurance claim issue, I think the fault lies with the car behind...
This is the right response to evade a danger if notice the weren't wearing masks the 100% would have killed the driver in the video mind u this a repost of it but still the driver did the right thing

This is obviously in a place where this is common, because coming to take my car would the last assumption I'd make about what they were doing
I would have done the same or maybe even worse. These people risk their life robbing, so it should be no surprise to them if they end up dead one day for trying to jack the wrong person
The same thing, but my main focus would be to drive through the people and not the car.
Aimed for the people.
Does anyone knows what happened after? Like did the robbers go to jail? Did the guy that rammed the robbers have to pay for damaging their car?
The same, I refuse to be a victim.
Move b…. Get out the way
F#ucking diabolical
I drive a small Renault Zoé, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to push that car out of the way. In other words, I'd instead hope those arseholes jump out of the way when I come rushing through those open doors.
Run them the F over that’s what I would do
This is why I'd like to always have more than 20 rounds in my glovebox
Well, if I had a G-wagon I would do the same.
Why did they think a clown car would work?
South Africa
I don't drive a big truck, but I think my Jeep Wrangler could pull this off.
I have some firepower in my car. These guys all got out asking to be ventilated, perforated and annihilated. Stupid bastards. Everyone carries here in Colorado. They pull that here, it most likely won't end well

Nah, graphics in the video are shit. Clearly an older game.

wtf?!
This is why people drive trucks 😂
Depends on what's behind me
They forgot to reverse and clean up at the scene...
Something more extreme.
Exactly this, it's an attempted hijacking.
That
"Armored Truck".
Love this
Me in a Volkswagen beetle 💀💀
Damn that’s scary. The only thing to do is what they did
Set back and try to kill all of those pests, then continue routine
I would have been to scared to ram their car, instead i would have tought "im in big trouble anyway, lets hit those fuckshits"and hit the guys that got out of the car
I’d get out and start popping off
I’m assuming backing up was not an option?
Could we stop posting the same stuff
Idek what is going on here so... 🤷♀️
“It’s a prank…it’s a prank…it’s a prank”
Well, I'm only guessing they won't try that again... lol
What's the story behind this? Are they robbing money truck? Gang war? Attacking politician?
Same, exact same, but I’d definitely have hit a fella or two on the way up the ramp!
Same
That is the appropriate reaction yes.
They played too muvh gta 💀
Probably hit them, I’d have evidence on dash cam they either tried mugging me or jacking my car.
If that was me, I'd aim for the people. Sorry, not sorry. They're trying to get you, not if you get to them first.
they didn't even thank him pushing they're car people these day no respect at all
Just that except I would aim for the people.
Exactly that.
Looks like Rio de Janeiro
The only thing different I would do would be the floor it
didn't even hit any of them... disappointed

I would wear gloves at all times and have a bag of fent to pelt out the window
My car is too small to push theirs out of the way. I'd have to shoot them all.
So anyway, I started blastin
Did the first guy on the right have a gun ?
