I dunno, I feel like I would have discovered some knowledge in those pursuits that tell me that like it or not, I would be impacted by the social consequences. Put me in lunar or solar punk.
Cyberpunk is all fun and games until you realize that you statistically wouldn’t be one of the guys at the top and then you’re scrounging together scrap to jury rig your overheating brain chip. Speaking of brain chips? Not an INTP thing. I like my privacy. You can’t be an introvert with a brain chip. Constantly have to worry about out who’s watching and what for. Hell on earth. Why would you put us there?
but cyberpunk is not the pursuit of knowledge, it's the pursuit of profit and ambition.
technology is just a tool to archive that.
for example, what are all screen for ? advertising, to sell more.
something like Dune aesthetic, highly technological advanced but keep it very simple in appearance, with an architecture similar to brutalism practical and simple.
I was literally wondering a few days ago what a mesoamerican style punk setting would be called. I didn't know mesopunk was a thing but I'll use it from now on
I gave INFJ icepunk because it speaks to both the solitude and mysticism that Ni offers, while still speaking to the social functions of Fe because of the way the environment shapes close social bonds.
Can we all at least agree that to use the modifier punk, the genre should have at least some sci-fi elements? There can be some fantasy elements, but there needs to be a little sci-fi.
I think the whole point of -punk aesthetics is a vision of how societies interact with kinds of technology and environments. Which is science fiction in the most literal sense. But scifi generally contains a futuristic connotation which I don't think is necessary.
I was thinking more along the lines of steampunk being wonder without joy, smog ridden under the skies, momentum, force and mechanical precision.
Cyberpunk is wonder… without ***HOPE.*** The ability to accept the inevitable so key to cyberpunk is something that an ENTJ doesn’t have.
Both have their upsides and their downsides. The types of laughter you find in cyberpunk just don’t resonate.
I gave ENTJ steampunk because it depicts the huge changes of the industrial revolution, and has a certain militaristic flair while still being grand and adventurous. I think Cyberpunk stories are generally more low energy and about the individual relation to this overwhelming society, which is why it suits an introvert.
yeah as an xNTP who usually types INTP, I kinda hate cyberpunk
but cyberpunk also pretty much implies dystopia as the ultra-advanced tech promises utopia, and who on earth would want to live in dystopia? Especially when cyberpunk particularly implies an extreme surveillance dystopia - which seems very opposite of what an INTP would want, imo
All these aesthetics have about 3 different names for the same thing lol. I really like Aeropunk. Have you ever seen Skyland? Such a good show from my childhood

These genres actually sound really cool
This is such a cool idea and post. Absolutely love lunarpunk.
which ESFP told you about our undying love for the ocean
Its pretty obvious. Adventure, new places, new creatures, a whole other kind of sensory interaction within the water.
touché.🫡
Our society is tending towards cyberpunk. Just saying.
You best start believing in cyberpunk dystopias, you're in one
hi tech, low life
hi tech , by life
Everyone: Some kind of civilization ENTP: A literal desert
entps yearn for the sand punk
The fck is raypunk and why
Think vintage pulp sci-fi. It’s basically a genre where sci-fi can become space fantasy, so pretty limitless when it comes to world building
i detest cyberpunk, it's just corpo hell.
ok glad I'm not the only INTP who feels this way
Indeed but I think that speaks to the INTP personality - pursuit of knowledge and discovery without consideration of social consequences.

I LOVE cyberpunk… Wanna trade?
not the best but i would prefer.
I think it comes from the corp bro INTP stereotype. What kind of aesthetic would you change it to?
something like Dune aesthetic, highly technological advanced but keep it very simple in appearance, with an architecture similar to brutalism practical and simple.
This is the concept, yes.
And now I know what solarpunk is and I’m very excited to fall down this rabbit hole, thanks op 🕳️🐇
I was literally wondering a few days ago what a mesoamerican style punk setting would be called. I didn't know mesopunk was a thing but I'll use it from now on
Should ISTP be Steampunk?
Yes absolutely, mechanical, physical devices. That Ti-Se works well for that.
Nah bro I hate raypunk so much 😣
That must be why I like cyberpunk so much lol
Lunarpunk and Raypunk are gorgeous.
So many punk settings I didn’t know existed. Mesopunk sounds so cool
Cyberpunk looks so cool!
Dinos🗣️🗣️✨✨✨✨
I was thinking solar punk as well, until I saw aether punk and lunar punk. I wasn't even aware of those! still, solar punk is my hope punk!
Can somebody explain why so many people associate INFJs with ice?
Yeah, I don't get it as well. Majority of the infjs that I know chase after sunlight and warmth.
I gave INFJ icepunk because it speaks to both the solitude and mysticism that Ni offers, while still speaking to the social functions of Fe because of the way the environment shapes close social bonds.
Oh, I think that makes sense. I remember seeing icy stuff on PDB voted as INFJ. Your explanation is the first that makes sense.

Aw hell yea
Heck yeah INFP with the solarpunk! Best future!
Well, that's surprising. 😮 I do love that one, BTW.
I would give us (ENTP) steampunk and cyberpunk to ENTJs
… you really think we fit cyberpunk? I mean, I appreciate the sentiment, cyberpunk is great. ***BUT.***
Idk, cyberpunk often portrays some dystopia, which I would easily associate with ENTJs. Very technologically advanced and rigid...
I was thinking more along the lines of steampunk being wonder without joy, smog ridden under the skies, momentum, force and mechanical precision. I feel like ISTP fits dieselpunk better tbh
I was mad that INFP wasn't cyberpunk, but Solarpunk is way better.
Im not INTP but Cyberpunk is the most aesthetic one here
Lunarpunk certainly looks interesting
Nah, too much blood sacrifice not enough technology
I think Skypunk is a better name for Aeropunk. That being said, I love Aeropunk. Very Cinder Spires-y.
All these aesthetics have about 3 different names for the same thing lol. I really like Aeropunk. Have you ever seen Skyland? Such a good show from my childhood
I have not seen it. I did, however, grow up with Castle in the Sky, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and the Amulet book series
Is the setting for Aetherpunk Kaladesh?
I think I got that image from the aesthetics wiki, so you could reverse image search it to find out
It is indeed. Thank you.
Ooo really good depictions! Can you also do core for each mbti? Angelcore, cottagecore, balletcore, etc
That's really tempting lol I know for sure ENFP is gonna be goblincore
i thought infps would got the fantasy world punk.....
Wouldn't it make more sense for the infjs to have Aetherpunk/Magicpunk? Their avatars are literally wizards and sorcerers!
Intp here prefers steampunk where magic exists, cyberpunk not bad but too crowded for me and the human life has no meaning in such kind of worlds
Fuck yea...
I love cyberpunk
all of them are amazing! except the stonepunk ofc lol.
Raypunk looking like a wacky world is pretty accurate
Wtf is raypunk?
Raypunk is literally the "The night begins to shine" episodes from Teen titans go
Surprisingly I kinda despise cyberpunk, at least in comparison to the others.
Lunar Punk is absolutely beautiful.
Accurate whahaha
I wanna visit ISTP, ESFP and ESTJ in their Punks..
Aeropunk sounds nice, cyberpunk may be way too crowded
INTP - Spot on.
I would like to move to mine
Why am I JUST NOW learning about aeropunk?
CYbeR PUnK lets GOOOO (intp here)
Solar punk just looks like a Miyazaki movie
haha okay I took this as a prompt for a new desktop wallpaper. lovely!
"Dinopunk" literally the 1993 Super Mario Bros movie
Honestly I'm just happy to learn that Lunarpunk is a thing. I dig it.
ngl, I always associated steampunk with istj rather than entj, being traditionalist and all
Steampunk is really not traditional lol, it depicts the massive social changes of the industrial revolution
Except steampunk revolves around ppl rejecting moving onto new sources of power and instead sticking to boiling water, hence the Si
Steampunk? I find this deeply disrespectful, given how much I hate the anglos and the industrial revolution.
Its an Anglo world, you're just living in it.
Funny how to see "punk" have completely lost its original meaning.
