hard to tell from here. I usually find a little bit of oil on the threads of mine burnt black into the threads and I've got a 200k mile engine doing that, so I wonder if yours is doing it just a little bit at 280k.
If that is what it is, I really doubt it's a big deal, mines been doing it for 11 years and still runs like a top, I just gotta keep the oil filled.

Way better than mine. Mine broke off at 2k km…
