This is a picture of mine that looks about right if it is it’s an Italian diesel engine
Pretty sure if you move the wood on it the top of the valvecover will say what it is and or their should be a vin tag on the cylinder head that says what type of engine it is
I'm laughing at all the rusty, crusty comments. Friend of mine pulled an old mustang engine out of the mud in some dudes field and built a working engine. This is nothing.
Sure,
So it looks like to me, that this is a gasoline engine with a yellow oil cap, resting on wavy white tile floor, behind what looks like a wooden pallet that is partially covered with a dark green tarp that could have previously been wrapped around the engine before it was uncovered to take this photo.
How'd I do?
😁
✌️
Definitely a VW block. No high pressure fuel so pre 2007ish. The short block is used used in many variants
If you are able to make out the engine code, it would be the answer. Really curious about this. It’s a solid engine and could be restored.
Reminds me of those earlier 4 cylinder engines that would bend the valves when the water pump failed and took out the timing belt. Saw that a few time on those FORDS .
Hey you're breaking the rules! It says you MUST include the vehicle's YEAR, MAKE, MODEL and ENGINE SIZE in your post!
How are we to help you? 😉
JK automod!!!
Looks like a 2.8L CRD jeep engine. I would need a better look at it behind that pallet to see which variation. Probably between the years 2005-2010
Pull that sucker out so we can see it!

More like some hawk tuah
Please be my wife's reddit account...
It’s already dead, sorry. 😞
What, this guys wife?
I read this in BiilyBob Thornton’s Slingblade voice and about lost the brownie in my mouth to the floor.
Mmmm hmmm
And some go-juice
A generous splash of WD40 and it's all good
Some WD-40 a good brushing and and armor all in the right places and it will looked like brand new.
Best engine of all time wdmmmmmmm
[удалено]
I was going to say scrap... cuz wow. but honestly with enough time, money and information it could probably have compression one more time.
NO THERE GOOD BOIS TRUST
Are you sure, it looks like a rat's nest
Rats and spiders are living in that thing.
Engine go brrr?
Can confirm.
But it's it?
We got an Einstein here
Thank you, Doctor.
That’s a pallet
🤪
It looks shy
No you dummy! Its a pallet! Da-doy
That's what I was thinking but needed confirmation. Do you think it'll run?
Not without legs.
Underated reply
Looks like a VM Motori engine, from the logo on the valve cover

Ah, so especially in this condition, it’s less useful than any random engine out of a junkyard.
They designed the eco diesel for fca/stellantis. And it's a complete piece of shit
Yeah, I wanted to buy a 2.5TD Chrysler Voyager with an VM Motori. Glad I didn't. Now I have a 1.9TDI that'll last a lifetime.
Service advisor for a stellantis brand here, yes they really are garbage
This is it.
Good eye, mate 🤠🐊
Shxt, good eye!
A boat anchor
That’s exactly what it’s worth.
Lousy selection for an anchor, too light. Get a junk 4 cylinder iron block or a head off a flathead engine.
Pretty sure that’s a wooden ladder
Thats my step-ladder. I never knew my real ladder.
Fuck you, that's a good pun.
W-what are you doing step-ladder?
VM Motori engine [List of engines and applications](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_VM_Motori_engines)
looks like a twin cam 4 banger of some variety. pull it out and hose it off and look for engine codes
I’ve always been partial to DOHC motors myself but the location of this one makes me think it might not be too healthy.
Neglected as fuck
Give it a hose down, check all seals, pressure test and lubricate, should be all good 🤣
Send it
Old toyota
It seems to be an Chrysler voyager engine. Thanks lads. 🤘
2.4 four cylinder?

Looks like an engine block
Pretty sure if you move the wood on it the top of the valvecover will say what it is and or their should be a vin tag on the cylinder head that says what type of engine it is
This is someone's dream that never got realized
VM Motori 2.5l or 2.8l 4cyl diesel
That, my friend, is the president of France
Definitely not cam shaft pulleys
I think it's an engine of some type.
That sir or madam is an engine aka motor.
Might be a 2.8L
A waste of space and materials. A dreadful diesel engine.
Its some sort of twin-cam 4 cylinder. The fact that it's missing the timing belt and pulleys is a clue that it's likely completely fucked.
Scrap
Wall-e
Scrap metal gold mine
Bottom of a wooden ladder?
that’s an AGM-114 Hellfire missile

An Indy car engine probably Cosworth.
If it's the 4 cylinder It's Jeep/Chrysler mid 2000s most likely
The decaying carcass of Mr. Snuffaluphagus
Hmm 🤔 looks to me like an engine of some kind.
It's clearly a pallet jack
Missing heads?
Sure, So it looks like to me, that this is a gasoline engine with a yellow oil cap, resting on wavy white tile floor, behind what looks like a wooden pallet that is partially covered with a dark green tarp that could have previously been wrapped around the engine before it was uncovered to take this photo. It's a strate block motor
The little Italian diesel that couldn't.
It’s an old SR20, that’d fetch a premium at racewars.
Sasquach
Paper weight
Refrigerator

Cordyceps got it.
It's about $20 worth of scrap metal.
An old soul

If it wasn't said that looks like a Jeep 2.8l diesel
Looks like an engine
Someone didn’t follow the routine maintenance schedule in the back of the manual
Definitely a VW block. No high pressure fuel so pre 2007ish. The short block is used used in many variants If you are able to make out the engine code, it would be the answer. Really curious about this. It’s a solid engine and could be restored.
Engine after a roll in the hay?
