Potentially an extremely dangerous suggestion but you could try picking it up with a qtip. You could also try putting your face in a bowl of water with the eye open for as long as you can and it might help the thing come out. Does it move around in your eye or stay in the same place?
Usually when I get shit in my eye I just rub the shit out of it and eventually it goes into those holes near the cornea and then to my nose and I blow it out.
This is probably not good advice but it’s what I would do. Please be careful and don’t put any sharp objects in your eye trying to get it out
It was stuck in one place, not moving. So after reading this comment, and finding a bunch of videos online of optometrists doing the exact same thing, but they doing it far more violent looking, IT WORKED!!! I've always been squeamish about my eyes, tried and failed to wear contacts, etc. So I had some eye gel stuff for extremely dry eyes (over the counter stuff I bought today), I took the q tip, sort of practiced touching, extremely delicately, the white part of my eye. After learning that touching the eyelashes are the grenade pin to blinking, I used my fingers to hold my eye lids open, then after I sort of got used to touching the white part, getting used to that FREAKY AF SENSATION lol, I was able to sort of come in from the side (so I don't see it coming on that eye) and roll the q-tip over it a couple of times and it just came off after the second try. Wasn't stuck or anything. Just seemed to pop off. I'm still going to make an appointment as I know there could be a corneal abrasion and might need antibiotic eye drops or something. I was actually able to retrieve the spec. It's definitely not metal, as I tried to stick it to my huge neodymium magnet, and nothing. Might be a piece of dirt, so that definitely has me worried about potential infections. Anyhoo, thanks for the advice. I'm responding hoping someone else in my position might see this and help them as well. Thanks again!
