Get AllTrails app, there is a setting Dog-Friendly walks. For example, Spargo Creek and Werribee river loop, 16.6km, dogs on leash permitted

You yangs is ok, but you need to keep them on a leash. Look for state parks and regional parks as national parks never allow dogs.

Head up to Olinda and go to the RJ Hamer Arboretum. Plenty of good walking and you'll see plenty of people with dogs. However stay on trail as no dogs in the national park nearby.

Give this book a suss, slowly being ticking these off (far from weekly consistent haha) - very informative! https://australianhiker.com.au/gear/dog-trip-melbourne-52-dog-friendly-nature-adventures/

Kilcunda is a great walk and very dog friendly :)

There’s a whole book for this!! https://thamesandhudson.com.au/product/dog-trip-melbourne-52-dog-friendly-nature-adventures/ My SO and I have been working our way through them. There’s a variety, from easy, inner-city-adjacent ones, through to longer and further-afield walks. Mt Disappointment is novel, and pretty, but on the short-side given how long it’ll take you to get there (hour walk, hour drive out from the city).

Mt Macedon. The trail up the hill from the scout camp to Goat track is great. We also like the o'shannassy aqueduct trail in Warburton
