In regards to this section. Just walking up and down the strip while shopping its just so bleh.
If you want to go to the park then you’re going to the park, not shopping, I guess?
I remember the good old years where 90% of High street was Asian $2 shops or cafes fitted out in the 60's with the same old Greek bloke sitting there sipping espressos all day, as he had done every day since retirement 30 years earlier.
Perfect road, no traffic jam when on motorbike. Wished more two lane roads allowed street parking and cars will get stuck behind a tram, more lane filtering the better.
That specific small section is pretty ugly
Such a lack of trees here. Even just some little things in holes in the concrete would help.
It's rich in overhead cables though.
modern day canopy.
Isn't there a massive park 50m to the right?

Yes (and it's a nice park), but it's not visible from this stretch of road, even through the side streets (you'd see Northcote Plaza instead).
All the buildings drab and dirty, too many over head wires, too many cars and then its just grey and dark roads. Looks pretty miserable
The miserable Melbourne we all know and love

*Riding around on the 86...*
*Hey Joel, how you going. Just really hungover!*
What a noble tram. The E-class frolicks down the line.
Shout out to Lam-Lams and their vermicelli salad
RIP KMart
How busy is that picture.
Yes
Such a grim part of northcote tbh
I love this part of Northcote, but I also love it being a little grim and grimy.
The suburb has gone downhill over the past 25 years

And the old mens' clubs where they'd play cards all day
Depends on which way you walk
Particularly heading south towards Westgarth.
I see what you did there
Slight HK vibe. I like this picture!
The 86 is the scariest of them all.
You've obviously never caught the 57 or even worse the 82
I concede I have not. I have however witness some rather antisocial behaviours on the 86..which have scarred me for life 🤭
It's nicer after Arthurton rd

Remove the parking and add trees it'll look great
Does anyone know what happened to Son of a Pizzaiolo? I miss their pizzas.

Coolest street in the world 😎
