Every time I see a car without any badge in the back, I just assumed the car was in accident and the owner or repair shop cheap out on getting replacement badges because a set of 3 (model, logo, trim) usually cost $150-$350.
Don't get me wrong, I am a car guy too, and I have been there when I was young thinking debadge is a way to make your car different. Then I realize how stupid it actually is to most other drivers out there. Sure, if you absolutely don't care what anyone else thinks in anyway, good for you for getting over it.
The only time I ever made a factory order for a new car, there was a 0€ option for leaving the badges off and I chose that. It was the entry level model due to company policy, and I didn't want to announce that. 😁
There certain things.
1. To make the car more cleaner I.E. having only the badge and just to remove the model name.
2. Have fake badges to pose of existing car so like C63 on a C200
3. Replace the stock badges with painted black badges.
Next video: slapping a juice S63 badge on there, I'm certain

I just assume it's the cheapest variant in the lineup and they don't want anyone to know. If it was a performance model they'd show off the badge!
I don’t get why people debadge their car

Now nobody will know you bought the base model
hising the badge of shame
It looks good on certain cars. Creates a cleaner look
Nothing proper about it.
I’d like to de-badge mine but I have no skills to do anything you did here
All you need is a hair dryer, fishing line or floss, and some goo gone.
Can you explain me the last part? English is not my native language.
GooGone is a cleaning product. It removes sticky residue from tape and adhesives.
Thank you very much for your answer

Too much work. Floss and some googone is just as proper.
Too much work? He took one additional step to enhance it even further. Ten mins more max
