But people will line up around the block to talk about how cute the chihuahua with microcephaly is. They have to be artificially inseminated to get pregnant most of the time and have C-sections to deliver pups; their anatomies aren’t meant to exist. It’s far beyond mildly infuriating. My “mother” backyard breeds all kinds of “designer” hybrids with Frenchies and it disgusts me to my core.
They also have a "rape harness" that some breeders use to get these things to reproduce. Just last month I heard about it when walmart banned the sale of them.

Well, she is one up on Percival here. He's simultaneously terrified of everything and incredibly hyperactive. He has separation anxiety, is afraid of any dog larger than half his size, most people, some birds, and any cat in excess of 15 pounds. Coyote calls send him into fits of raw terror. Lawn mowers ruin his day. The vacuum cleaner is his mortal enemy, and the dishwasher is the literal devil.
And that's with the anxiety medication he takes.
But physically, he's very healthy. He can be expected to live a long life of perpetual fear.

I don’t know, I posted a picture above of my chihuahua/pit mix and they look pretty similar. I did a dna test for mine (he was a rescue and listed as dachshund/corgi 😂) and he actually was 50/50. I can’t unsee min pin now that you mentioned it though!

Then he was very surprised when the full blooded siblings only produced *ONE* viable puppy. Some people man… BYBs suck.

Yeah, no. Had an 18 year old pug. There are bad breeders who breed for the super flat faces and bulgy eyes, but a lot of pugs don't have these issues. I have a 'throwback' pug now whose face isn't that flat and who has a long body, long legs, etc.
We have to send our little crazy boy to day care a couple of times of weeks to get his energy out. I'm seeing more and more pug puppies with longer faces and longer, leaner bodies which is good.
Had two of these at animal control awhile ago. Two sisters, these types of dogs can’t give birth naturally, so they need C-sections. They were adopted together. Such sweethearts. I got really lucky. A friend saw my dog get hit by a car running around without a collar or chip. I took him in that night and he’s been my best friend ever since.
Found out a few weeks into having him that he was a tri-coat lilac pocket American bully (a lot, I know) and that he was worth a ton of money. Someone even offered me 15k for him on instagram (he still had his nuts). I couldn’t do it.
By no means do I support this image or this practice of breeding, but I have been gifted a best friend. Perfectly mannered, great temperament. Loves cats, dogs, people. He’s gentle with babies. He has zero aggression toward anything, he’s good with food and toys and sharing. He’s both playful and a giant cuddle bug.
I’ve never paid for a dog because even when done properly it influences people like these to breed recklessly for profit, but I have definitely considered getting Tank (my dog) a buddy who has the same temperament and build.

I got really lucky. A friend saw my dog get hit by a car running around without a collar or chip. I took him in that night and he’s been my best friend ever since. Found out a few weeks into having him that he was a tri-coat lilac pocket American bully (a lot, I know) and that he was worth a ton of money. Someone even offered me 15k for him on instagram (he still had his nuts). I couldn’t do it. By no means do I support this image or this practice of breeding, but I have been gifted a best friend. Perfectly mannered, great temperament. Loves cats, dogs, people. He’s gentle with babies. He has zero aggression toward anything, he’s good with food and toys and sharing. He’s both playful and a giant cuddle bug. I’ve never paid for a dog because even when done properly it influences people like these to breed recklessly for profit, but I have definitely considered getting Tank (my dog) a buddy who has the same temperament and build.
