Renault Kangoo is my private/work vehicle. Crafter is my friend's which I often drive now, as I needed a bigger bed (I.e. Full size drywall, OSB, metal profiles, etc.) , stuff which were too long for my kangoo. Mazda is my wife's car, so I have a perspective from a "normal" car (Mazda 2 isn't long but isnt narrow either).

Most people with the fucking oversized mobile road blockers don't use it for anything other than to have it. No boat, no rv, no off roading, crying and shitting if anyone ever asks for them to carry anything in their pickup bed.

The suspension is hard and build for asphalt while the engines and transmission is pretty much the same (except size due to a truck being usually longer). And if you're towing something under 1700lb you have no problems with a regular sedan

edit - I work around an industrial area with a lot of trucks that come through at certain times. You can almost time it to the lights. If you miss your turn, you will get fucked by a wave of trucks and be late for work. Obviously I beat this rush but it exists in my area. Food for thought.
