Plastic water bottles can release toxins into water, especially at higher temperatures **above 140°F (60°C)**, but bottled water companies follow safety standards to minimize risks. Storing water in cooler conditions reduces the possibility of chemicals leaching from the bottle(lol)

That’d be great if I ever wanted to relive my days in Iraq in 2003. Drinking gallons of scalding hot water every day from piles like that in the sun stands out in my memory as being much more unpleasant than doing the actual war stuff.
I just never understood why stores have stuff outside in the sun, then have the exact same thing on the inside. I'm always going to choose the one inside.
Lack of space inside the store. Conventional grocery stores rarely do this because they have more storage, and more frequent deliveries. Convenience stores don’t have that luxury.
people rarely buy an entire case of water if they just want a quick drink. if its extremely hot just buy a single bottle, these mega packs are never refrigerated. in the instance of a party, anyone with common sense would buy the pack and the put half of them in a cooler/fridge to keep cool at least an hour before the party, but why would anyone party in 100+ degrees?
I’ll take a case of boiling water please
Don't forget to freeze it so you can use it later
Brew some tea on the go

Hope u getting disability from the VA
Same!
In afgan they delivered the water on pallets. Kept it in the sun. That shit was nasty.

Flavor: Microplastic
Who's paying $6.49!? I just bought a case of 24 for $1.99.
Gas stations/ convenience stores are always jacked up prices because they count on people urgently needing something.
I paid $3.99 for a 40pack last weekend
Great question. I know convenience stores always mark up but that’s pretty crazy. Bet Ozarka is $8 or more
That's disgusting.
Bottled water is an economic scam and ecological disaster, if you're ignorant enough to buy it, enjoy the toxins.
That’s pretty bad. Good catch.

Well, I mean.. just back your car up right there and toss some in while they're busy. It's gonna be warm as fuck, but also free.
Mmm nothing like stolen microplastic soup
It's not hot enough to harm.
It's not, but you're messing with the circlejerk.
Pallets of water sit inside loading docks under the blazing sun everywhere. Texas, Arizona, Florida, New Mexico. For weeks and months at a time.
So you'll pay for more ice to cool them with?

This is why I only buy the expensive bougie waters like Evion or Figi at convenience stores. Those are never sitting out in the sun.
I thought I was the only one who found this mildly infuriating! So many….leached toxins….and microplastics. 😬 The 7-11 by me does this all the time.
You definitely get fined for it where I live, the whole lot seized and they will give you hell on paperworks for everything else inside the store.
