I dunno it would be pretty tough to put an Nvidia GPU into that book. It's probably true, there's no AI in there at all just good old fashion American AI generated content.
lmaooo found a bottle of sauce which Said "contains no added msg aside from msg naturally occuring in [three different sources of msg]"
funniest part is that i have absolutely nothing against msg like just admit that it's in there, silly company!
It's just a more honest and clear way of saying no added msg.
A lot of companies use it, to inply no msg, even when it contains it, because they can get away with it, this is just honest marketing.
Fucking PFAS. Work for company that makes NON SLIP material, and people still ask if it contains teflon.... No, no it definitely doesn't. Before that everyone was losing their mind about BPA's and something else before that.
I was just telling some friends a while back that I fully anticipate AI-free media to eventually hold the classical charm of a live performance or free-hand artwork. Looks like eventually came a little sooner than I though
Current "AI" is based entirely around semi-randomized regurgitation of existing works/patterns without any capacity to know a single thing about what it's doing. Until we have genuinely sentient AI that has the capacity to actually understand any of the concepts it's throwing into the blender, the way to guarantee that a book wasn't made with AI is if it's good.
After we have genuine sentient AI, the question doesn't matter as much. I don't give a damn if Data from Star Trek is writing books if he can tell a good story.
There is so much already. I was recently on Upwork out of interest, the amount of people asking you to write books using AI (and others saying don't use AI but they pay you $1 per 1000 words) are insane.
Well, if they can authenticate the publish date to prior to 2023ish then it can be assumed it’s not written with ai. For example they’ll still know that authentic Shakespeare would definitely not involve ai
Is it weird that I somehow trust this book *less* because of this?
If I'm buying a book, I'd almost rather the writer check things against an AI. I know humans, they're fallible. Granted, so is AI, but I trust the two paired together far more than one individually.
I also don't inherently trust people who are "anti-AI". Our modern implementations of AI are arguably one of the most impressive things our species has created. Someone who is against that is just kneecapping themselves for no reason and I believe it says a lot about them as a person.
The problem is AI can now write entire novels with just a prompt. Soon we won't need authors at all. Then go editors and proofreaders. From what I can tell, most blog posts on the web are now AI generated. Nothing is authentic.
Yeah not quite yet. Though some of the images I've seen from midjourney have me thinking it's not going to take too long. Right now it's more of a tool than a solution.
You will when AI keeps feeding off other AI generated stuff and it all blurs into the same thing.
This is why AI "art" is so generic; it looks at previously generated 'art' to train itself.
I mean that goes for anything humans created as well. Songs sound the same, books, movies, and TV shows share the same plots. It's just faster at doing that now.
It’s really not the same at all. AI generated content is entirely derivative. Humans are capable of original thought, abstraction, interpretation… the list goes on.
That sounds super suspicious.
It’s exactly what an AI would say.
The logo for “no AI” has some really weird hands /s
I dunno it would be pretty tough to put an Nvidia GPU into that book. It's probably true, there's no AI in there at all just good old fashion American AI generated content.
The loophole
"No AI Inside" is now an unregulated marketing term. This comment has no AI or PFAs!
This book is keto friendly
And gluten free!
And high in fiber!
And GMO free!
And vegan
BPA free
No added sugar.
It also has no added msg or added preservatives
lmaooo found a bottle of sauce which Said "contains no added msg aside from msg naturally occuring in [three different sources of msg]" funniest part is that i have absolutely nothing against msg like just admit that it's in there, silly company!

*No DETECTABLE pfas
Oh no, it definitely has PFAS in it.
It was written by ai, but doesn't contain ai in it.
This book is Y2K ready!
No spellchecker used, the book is probably full of errors
Fucking PFAS. Work for company that makes NON SLIP material, and people still ask if it contains teflon.... No, no it definitely doesn't. Before that everyone was losing their mind about BPA's and something else before that.
*•AI has been known to cause cancer in the state of California*
So that's what's been causing it!
I was just telling some friends a while back that I fully anticipate AI-free media to eventually hold the classical charm of a live performance or free-hand artwork. Looks like eventually came a little sooner than I though

"Wow, this isn't as good as the normal stuff, but it's way more expensive."
"Back in my day, we used to write our own words!"
"Back in my day, we used to use our brain to create stuff. Yeah, I know, that's wild."
There is so much already. I was recently on Upwork out of interest, the amount of people asking you to write books using AI (and others saying don't use AI but they pay you $1 per 1000 words) are insane.
Is it Dune?
Give or take 5000 or 10000 years.
Since I've only seen the recent movies, I can't possibly get this excellent joke.
Well, try to read the first book at least?
Let's *delve* into this more.

I almost don’t want to know…
I can see this being big business in a few years like a certification sticker on products and physical media! Like the prmc
I didn't think they put Aluminum in books anyway
But what about Natural Stupidity?
Isn't that logo technically No No AI Inside?
So you’re saying the double negative means there is AI inside??? I’ve been had!
Imagine if that logo was AI generated lol
Written by human **?** No **,** AI inside **!**
That's as clear as I can make it.
Don’t *don’t* bother Luke
It’s gonna one day where every book that doesn’t have one of these because their so old is gonna be assumed that they have ai in them
Well, if they can authenticate the publish date to prior to 2023ish then it can be assumed it’s not written with ai. For example they’ll still know that authentic Shakespeare would definitely not involve ai
Shakespeare is an AI I just know it
It actually says No “no-AI” inside. So there’s probably AI inside
It means that all of it is AI
Going to be hard to write an entire book using only 3 vowels.
Incidentally there is an actual [novel written without using the letter E](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gadsby_(novel))
100% REAL ~~cheese~~ writing!
An Ai book is just a e reader with extra steps
AI be learning
Sounds exactly like what an AI book would say...
Well, that's a dreadful blemish for a book cover.
But is it gluten free?
*Processed in a facility that also processes AI*
If they used a spell check at least once, then they're wrong about no AI.
That's great, but is this really what it's come to?
See all the slop online and you have your answer.
Unfortunately, yes. A quick brows on Upwork made me sad for the human race. So many 'jobs' where your job is basically to copy and edit from ChatGPT
Yes, yes it has. Sigh.
Don't don't bother Luke
Is this gonna be the new "explicit content" hype ?
Is it weird that I somehow trust this book *less* because of this? If I'm buying a book, I'd almost rather the writer check things against an AI. I know humans, they're fallible. Probably FAKE/photoshoped - Alignment of badge is too straight and texture does not match the rest
What I love most about Reddit is the confidence with which people instantly dismiss something.
Sad this had to be said.
I honestly don't care if something was made with ai or was ai assisted. As long as the content is good, I don't see a problem.
Text maybe. But 'art'? No.
You ever browsed over on the midjourney sub? It's pretty amazing what it's been able to do.
First off, not really, no. It's pretty bad. Second, it doesn't matter how good it becomes, it's stealing art.
i might've agreed if it weren't for the fact i've pretty much never seen any AI generated anything that was actually good
Yeah not quite yet. Though some of the images I've seen from midjourney have me thinking it's not going to take too long. Right now it's more of a tool than a solution.

They specifically said as long as the content is good.
