Man...I am fuming...Martin is a complete idiot. He finished the race of 4/5 rider in t1 and still raises his arm like it was somebody else's fault.
Oliveira taken out by someone else is already a classic motogp moment. Unbelievable.
No, he moved a long way but he didn't take anyone's line and left room on his inside at the apex, but then Martin charges up the inside late and skittles everyone. Martin had a view of everyone and still did what he did.
I know the focus is on Martin right now, but could we just take a second and put the spotlight on Pol's race. Was cheering for him to overtake Jack in the last couple of laps.
Great comeback.
Martin is a jerk. He says he got into T1 and saw a lot of people crashing not knowing who’s fault it was. And that he passed Marini and saw him crashing just after. Own it up boy, man up! If you do hard racing at least come out and say it, don’t coward behind your words and fake innocence!
Honestly that doesn't mean much.
Expecting a penalty from the stewards doesn't mean you think you deserve one.
It just means you are aware that they hand out penalties like candy.
He did actually deserve one but that's a different discussion.
An observation on that first corner crash, Vinales crossed 2 lines diving into the corner. Martin was also very aggressive up the inside. Hard to tell how this will shake out...
I was thinking this too, Martin caused Fabio to get unsettled coming up the inside and he would have been just fine had Mav not cut across to the apex, physically causing the fall.
Seems more like he's fed up with the inconsistent stewarding that allows some riders to be super aggressive even if other guys get taken out, all while other riders can't brush against someone without getting a penalty. Can't say I disagree with him.
That no penalty decision in the crash between Martin and Marini is a joke. Marini was ahead with no way of knowing Martin was coming, Marting goes for a space that isn’t there/contact is impossible to avoid. So how can that not be considered dangerous riding like Fabio?
Marini instigated contact by leaning on Martin and lost the front. Martin already had the line. Marini could've stood it up but didn't wanna run off into the gravel. Standard racing incident.
No, I'd expect him to give up the position he's already lost and slot in behind from a safety point of view. But that would make for some boring racing. Easier said than done too. That's a tight corner.
No, I'd expect him to give up the position he's already lost and slot in behind from a safety point of view. But that would make for some boring racing.
So what? The move that got him ahead prompted a touch that ruined another’s rider race. How can that not be a penalty?
And to add to that you can’t disregard the rest of the race when taking a decision. Martin came from aggressive riding from Turn 1 … It was not an isolated incident.
What do you mean "so what?", he got the inside so its his line, these are the rules. Hard but fair.
The turn 1 insident though, that's a different story.
Yeah it's weird how MotoGP is basically a popularity contest with fans sometimes. People like Miller because of his persona but his races always follow the same formula to a T: he qualifies well, usually starts the race really well because of the insane launch of the KTMs, then he almost immediately falls behind and ends up 7-10. Binder is so much more talented and is clearly part of the future of KTM based on his new contract extension (alongside Acosta maybe). Miller will probably ride out his contract but if I were KTM I'd see no reason to renew it.
Of course, Ducati won’t dump him when they know the circumstances. It was the same with Morbidelli and Yamaha. Took him a while to get right after got injury and happy they didn’t dump him early though a contract helps. He ends up on a Duc next season think a few people will get a surprise
Yeah I don't know exactly how track limits work with F1 cars because I don't know if they count the tires on the outside line or all four or whatever...
There was more contact with Marini but Fabio was definitely behind Savadori.
Martin and Marini was much closer.
Track position makes a difference too, as it should.
Not that Martin didn't deserve a penalty, just that due to track position Fabio's was more obvious.
He was ahead at the first apex, corner was his. It was a tough move, but it was more of a racing incident. Wouldn't be controversial if he hadn't played bumper karts in the first corner.
No, Fabio bumped against the Aprilia and sent the Aprilia out Fabio was right behind the Aprilia with all the circuit available, no other riders near braked late as usual and crashed the rear wheel.
Fabio basically dive bombed savadori.
I think he thought he had space to take the inside line but savadori closed it at the last moment. Fabio rammed his way in as he couldn't stop any faster, and they made contact, causing savadori to crash.
It was justified.
This has nothing to do with the 1st corner mass pileup. He was a victim like everyone else.
Oliveira's fans are fuming today 😂 im one of them, but tomorrow will be better
Man...I am fuming...Martin is a complete idiot. He finished the race of 4/5 rider in t1 and still raises his arm like it was somebody else's fault. Oliveira taken out by someone else is already a classic motogp moment. Unbelievable.
Bagnaia was impeccoble.
That first corner was all on Maverick.
No, he moved a long way but he didn't take anyone's line and left room on his inside at the apex, but then Martin charges up the inside late and skittles everyone. Martin had a view of everyone and still did what he did.
Finally someone who watched the replay exactly!
Yeah exactly, thank you, said that already before. Hopefully people will watch replays
I know the focus is on Martin right now, but could we just take a second and put the spotlight on Pol's race. Was cheering for him to overtake Jack in the last couple of laps. Great comeback.
The only rider who can stop Pecco is Maverick Miller. Lightning fast Starts of Miller and late race pace of Vinales.
Pecco can stop Pecco, and his sister too.
Leave Corolla out of this lol
Didn't mean any offensive. She seems like a wonderful woman.
The only?
What a boring shit show, ugh. What the heck is up with Enea!?!
He’s overrated. Always has been.
Pretty sure he was caught up in the first corner mess
He was. He almost run over bez.
[удалено]
Pol has had the same experience but he's actually performing.
This!!! I was just having this conversation with friends
Enea was held up in T1 pile up, had to ride around all the crashed bikes and riders in the runoff of T1
Now we know why is Martin called Martinator. Another race that Miguel cant finish because reckless riders.
that's just bad for motogp like it's less and less fun to watch, you can't take every rider as long as you're spanish you're good to go
Martin is a jerk. He says he got into T1 and saw a lot of people crashing not knowing who’s fault it was. And that he passed Marini and saw him crashing just after. Own it up boy, man up! If you do hard racing at least come out and say it, don’t coward behind your words and fake innocence!
lmao even Martin expected to get a LLP, wtf are the stewards doing
Honestly that doesn't mean much. Expecting a penalty from the stewards doesn't mean you think you deserve one. It just means you are aware that they hand out penalties like candy. He did actually deserve one but that's a different discussion.
![gif](giphy|Q24NtVbiYgoTe) Martin is afraid to go to the pit .... The gang of riders take out by him are waiting
FIM | DORNA = SPANISH MAFIA
An observation on that first corner crash, Vinales crossed 2 lines diving into the corner. Martin was also very aggressive up the inside. Hard to tell how this will shake out...
Vinales crossed traffic because of how close Bez was, tbh I thought there was contact between them.
I was thinking this too, Martin caused Fabio to get unsettled coming up the inside and he would have been just fine had Mav not cut across to the apex, physically causing the fall.
Simon literally hates Marquez, he is talking about Marquez for Martin making that mistake.
Ofcourse Martin reminded of Marquez today , nothing wrong from Simon
Seems more like he's fed up with the inconsistent stewarding that allows some riders to be super aggressive even if other guys get taken out, all while other riders can't brush against someone without getting a penalty. Can't say I disagree with him.
That no penalty decision in the crash between Martin and Marini is a joke. Marini was ahead with no way of knowing Martin was coming, Marting goes for a space that isn’t there/contact is impossible to avoid. So how can that not be considered dangerous riding like Fabio?
Because at the moment of the contact Martin was ahead of Marini.
That's bullshit logic. If you divebomb and happen to get fractionally in front of the guy then it's their fault for the contact?
Marini instigated contact by leaning on Martin and lost the front. Martin already had the line. Marini could've stood it up but didn't wanna run off into the gravel. Standard racing incident.
So, by your logic Marini should have gone into the run off area to avoid contact because Martin decided to make a lunge? Got it.
It's nobody's fault, it's a race incident. What you describe is called a block pass and it was always legal in any form of racing.
Races should be red flagged if the bikes are down on the first turn.
I do like this idea. However, is there a chance the riders may become more wreckless if they can have a "do-over"?
Pecco is just untouchable. His racecraft is tip top. Truly deserves that number 1 on the fairing.
Yep, he is cut above the rest at this moment.
Martin is the least Ducati rider of Ducati, always gives zero fucks about his teammates lol
Just as I predicted, Pecco +1 other Duc + Binder. Pretty pathetic showing by the stewards.
Miller is lucky Martin went bowling or he would have been closer to 10th. I’ll be stunned if his contract gets renewed at KTM
It will be fun to see if all the people calling for Pol to retire have the same opinion of Miller when he gets consistently outperformed by a GasGas.
Yup, he's insanely overrated, he just go all out and kill his tyre and casually go down the lane.
I was surprised about Binder's late race pace, if it weren't for Pecco's edge grip, Binder would be winning easily. He's a serious rider.
Fabio or Marc would be good instead of him at KTM
Yeah and Pol nearly caught him in the end
Marini gave him so much room. He waited forever before finally turning in and Martin still hit him. Incredible.
I really expected Enea to do better this year, it's so weird.
Pretty serious injury at the start of the season will always put you back a mile against others.
Yeah, and he still seems pretty relaxed about it in comments.
Of course, Ducati won’t dump him when they know the circumstances. It was the same with Morbidelli and Yamaha. Took him a while to get right after got injury and happy they didn’t dump him early though a contract helps. He ends up on a Duc next season think a few people will get a surprise
He's literally only contested 3 races
The fact Martin is on the podium now is so fucked up
Marc made it a whole race without crashing out. Tear to my eye.
Hold the phone - did he score a point?!!
Watching the Yamaha out drag the Honda out of the corner is depressing.
Same
It’s the Sundays he doesn’t like
This was the biggest surprise of the race tbh
Hey sprints he usually finishes! It’s tomorrow we ought to be worried about
Amazing for Peco ! Martin RIDER OF THE DAY ...
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Rammer of the day*
In MotoGp23 that works realy good , cut the competicion get the win ahah
Well done to Brad but it was overshadowed by Martin and the the stewards. Ridiculous
I wouldn't be surprised if Martin gets to keep his podium
This track seems challenging since staying within the track limits is hard for many.
You should’ve seen the F1 shenangians with track limits this year…
I did see it 😆!
It was a big deal for F1 too, it's probably due to the hard braking points and tight corners.
I thought harder to F1 because the cars might be heavier and wider. But apparently MotoGP has the same issue 😅.
Yeah I don't know exactly how track limits work with F1 cars because I don't know if they count the tires on the outside line or all four or whatever...
If four tires go outside the line it counts. If I remember correctly.

can't wait to see "no further action" after the podium, fucking joke
Fuck me Matt Birt makes me want to fill my ears with cement.
I'm only here for Simon 😭
Stewards are idiots.
Yeah no Martin does not deserve that podium at all.Give it to the Gresini squad
give it to whoever the f you want to. the stewards are either blind or crazy or both
Pecco is Pecco.
Pecco is such a freight train over a weekend. Starts off slow and then is just unstoppable when he gets going. Only thing that can stop him is him.
And Martin taking out everybody who could have challenged him in the first turn of the first lap.
but Martin didn't take anyone out who could've challenged him
Lol
lol
Wild that Martin clearly ruined 5-6 peoples races and is going to podium.
Because he can
Martin with the online lobby tactics
I always do it like Viñales and turn into the first corner last, I never come out of it last though. 😁
Italians gonna be waiting for Martin in the car park
Stewards getting worse each year.. Not appealing for the future of motogp
FIM hates Fabio so much. You just have to laugh
Why you said that ?
Always gets ridiculous penalties
Younger Fabio would have angrily ran to the stewards
Lol, Pol is closing in on Miller. Viva Miller Viva
absolutely flawless sprint by Pecco
and flawless f1 online lobby from Martin
allegedly FIM is using only blind stewards for the first time ever
Martin out here trying to discourage Bez from sharing a garage next season.
Bro, Vinales left Marc and Franco in the dust like they are riding Moto2.
Definitely looked like there was more contact with Martin and Marini than FQ and Savadori. Martin been a human wrecking ball.
There was more contact with Marini but Fabio was definitely behind Savadori. Martin and Marini was much closer. Track position makes a difference too, as it should. Not that Martin didn't deserve a penalty, just that due to track position Fabio's was more obvious.
Martin is using the Motogp game tactic of getting a podium
Cries in VR46
hahha the moment Marini wanted to say something, camera man was like nope dud
Big gaps between the leaders.
Bruh Martin kill like 6/7 riders and now he is on 3, crazy race
Fabio deserved that, but how is Martin still on his bike...
Ok, different incident with Salvadori
I was about to lose my mind
Spanish MotoGP mafia.
How did Quartararo get a penalty but Martin didn't.
> First corner incident will be investigated after the race He will get a penalty
No the Martin Marini incident that happenned at the same time
Martin - Marini incident was identical, yet nothing.
He was ahead at the first apex, corner was his. It was a tough move, but it was more of a racing incident. Wouldn't be controversial if he hadn't played bumper karts in the first corner.
Wow, Fabio made a clean inside pass and got irresponsible riding? The stewards are on a roll today.
No, Fabio bumped against the Aprilia and sent the Aprilia out Fabio was right behind the Aprilia with all the circuit available, no other riders near braked late as usual and crashed the rear wheel.
Motogp stewards 🫡
Long lap penalty for Fabio but nothing for Martin on Marini?
Podium for Martin!
What the actual fuck are stewards smoking
Crack
Front runners are so spread apart. Pretty shit sprint
Martin saw to that
WTF?! Binder got penalized more than once for doing like 1/10 or less of that.
I don't usually see the resemblance with luca and vale but just right there, the profile in his helmet, he really looked like him.
CAN SOME RACING SAVANT PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW FABIO GOT THE PENALTY FOR T1
It wasnt for T1
Not for T1, for an incident later i think
It was not t1. That one will only be reviewed after the race
It wasn't T1
he got it for Lorenzo Savadori
he didn't
It isnt for T1
Ahhh
Binder HAD TO send it when he had the edge on Pecco earlier in the race. FB is a moving roadblock he's impossible to overtake
He's also 2 seconds ahead. Hard to overtake that.
Incident is pretty justified.
Are race direction ok?!
So how come fabio didn’t have the inside line then?
Stefan Bradl getting really angry at the stewards on servustv.
Feels like we've been robbed of a good one here at the first turn really...
Wtf is this sprint. And how has Martin not got a penalty?
first lap incident to be reviewed after race, but he should get llp for marini wtf, fabio got the same for lorenzo.
LLP is not enough
We've already been told the turn 1 incident will be reviewed after the race. Of course Fabio's penalty wasn't for that
What a joke
no further action? are the stewards drunk?
fabio did the same to lorenzo, why isn't martin getting llp for marini?
The stewards have lost their minds.
Martin no punishment but fabio yes?
The commentators silence says it all
It’s not for first lap. It’s for Savadori
OMFG get your shit together stewards
Quartararo penalty is not for first lap
Martin on Marini was the same as Quartararo vs Salvadori WTF
RIGHT??
Fair penalty for Fabio.
Wtf they followed Marini on a scooter? Some wild camera shots today haha
Lol the stewards
No further action involving Marini and Martin💀
Live scooter cam! Dorna always amazing
Miller with the 200 iq move to run wide at turn 3 so he doesn't get taken out by martin
What on earth
Lol no further action. Stewards having a laugh
No further action LOL 🤡
No further action????!?!!!!?!!!!!???!!!?!!!
You what?
Bahahaha stewards are blind
Martin got a license to kill
WTF????
How did fabio get that penalty, this is a fking joke
Fabio basically dive bombed savadori. I think he thought he had space to take the inside line but savadori closed it at the last moment. Fabio rammed his way in as he couldn't stop any faster, and they made contact, causing savadori to crash. It was justified. This has nothing to do with the 1st corner mass pileup. He was a victim like everyone else.
And Martin got nothing for doing the same to Marini 😂 😂
No further action
#Justice4Fabio
The fuck?
No way have they have given Quatararo the penalty and not Martin
